    Default Getting change for them

I'm seriously taking umbrage lately with the amount of guys that, after a (singular) $10 dance, want me to go get them change across the room for a hundred when I tell them I don't have it on me. Do they tip? No. Do they even appreciate it? Hell no. Only to revel in their fat assed smugness at how badassed they are to get waited on hand, foot, and dick.

My club is not all that busy. There is no waitress on hand nearby usually, nor a seemingly valid excuse like "I can't. I have to go make money" because it's not packed, and I feel like it's rude and hurts my chances of getting dances from them later.

Would you continue to do this? I know I need to be asking for tips to do this, and for dances, but even still they could say no. So would you?

Bring change with you to work and carry it in your purse, $20's, $10's, $5's and plenty of $1's. Then make change right there and then for them counting it out like a waitress does. This should give them the hint to tip a couple of bucks on top of the $10 dance and saves time.

^That's true. I like to carry my money on my finger (lol I know this sounds bad but for this club, it's really not, and to me the most efficient) I think I'm just gonna tell them no. Maybe not fuck no, but more like, sorry, my work here is DONE! Muhahaha. Come to think of it, they've all been of the cheapass variety as in not spending any more later, and besides, if they still wanted me, they'd still get a dance.

Offer to do the full hundred worth of dances or smile sweetly and say, "You know that's gonna cost ya, hint, hint." Basically, let them know that you're doing them a HUGE favor by doing this, and they need to show appreciation either by tipping you or buying more dances. It's costing you your time and money. Who cares if they say no, it needs to at least be brought to their attention.

Very good point. However, I think it's about having the balls for the direct approach....these fuckers are too clueless to take a hint probably.

It's funny, at first I wasn't *so* mad about it. * Like, what's the big deal really anyway. But really tho, they can be polite and pay with the correct change or do it themselves. I feel like I might as well be serving them food.

*I suppose the same could be said for most lil things, heh.

^Yes, absolutely right---if nothing else, they should be made aware of the fact that that shit doesn't fly....without YOU doing something "out of the ordinary" too, like spending more.

I think I need to either just refuse, or say it directly, but figure out a way to do that smoothly.

that's a really severe situation but i'm thinking on a smaller scale...

i don't like it in general when i have to give the customer back change, i think he should just let me have it if he doesn't have the correct amount available because first of all it's a pain in the ass to look at how much money i've made or not made and second of all, that tip should be mine dammit. i'm talking a 20 dollar bill for a 10 dollar dance or 100 bill for a 75 or something.

anyone have a cute line that will make them let me keep it instead of digging around for it?

a couple times though i haven't had the available tip and so the customer just gave it to me anyway... this sort of tempts me to walk around with less money in my garter haha.

^^ I just say "Oh thank you very much! How generous a tipper you are! Wait until the other girls hear about this!" I play dumb. Work up their egos. Course youre not going to tell the other girls. Its harder for them to say when youve just boosted them onto a pedistal and gotten sooooooooooooo excited. And if you do want their change just pout. LOL

I dont think that would work for a ten dollar dance with a $100 bill but for $75 worth of dances it works well.

Playing dumb almost always works well, but sometimes with those types of men I turn my raging bitch on, for example: He asks you get go fetch him some change...look him straight in the face and say, "I don't TAKE orders." (don't sugarcoat it with honey or baby) then say, "I'm going to dance for you now and we'll work out the details later." If there's any money left at all, go with him so he can get his own change. Chances are he'll just tell you to keep the rest. For some reason men are just FASCINATED with a woman who tells them what to do...

Usually, if a guy asks me to get him change and I don't have it on me, I just say, "Ok, but there's gonna be a delivery fee!" and smile all cutesy and shit. It usually gets me only a couple of dollars, but it at least gives me control over the situation.

If you are only doing mostly $10 dances, I would get try to get the money up front, then if they say "well, I only have a hundred, you have change right?" send them to the bar to get change first. Or ask your bouncer to get change for you while you start your dance, if your club is not too busy they probably need something to do, and you already have to tip them at the end of the night, so make em earn it lol!

Not to t/j...but I cant picture how you can carry your money on your finger....how do you do that???

And I'd tell them I charge $10 for "shipping and handling" to get them change from across the room. Screw it...thats a pain in the ass. For a decent amount of money its one thing...but to get $10 out of his $100??? Thats just a power trip.

This freak of nature came up to the stage when my friend was on, and he gave her a 10 and asked if she had change. Apparently he wanted a five back. He was really strange, definitely on something. He was kicked out of the club eventually for touching dancers, but I thought that was the most ridiculous thing. If a guy asked me for change on stage, I'd be pissed.

I explained it in there. It continues to work the best for my particular club, even despite my recent mishap, I would have lost an entire purse I was so out of it.

Yea, oh HELL no. I'd be "rude" to him and ask what the hell he was doing asking for change on stage!

I do not break hundred dollar bills as some girls have received conterfeit bills that way. If it is above a fifty I take them to the bar where the bartender can break it for them. The bartender checks the bill with the extra light and a marker.

I'd definitely hold back a $5or 10 (depending on vibe of the guy) and be all "and this is for me for being so helpful, right?" *doe eyes, big smile*

Whether on stage or after a lap dance, I usually charge a 'service' fee. Depending on how much change they need this can be a couple of bucks to... well.... more than a couple of bucks. I tell them I'll get them their change and when I count it out to them I wink and smile and say "and this is for the service fee, teehee."

I haven't had guys take it personally... even if they did, I didn't have to deal with it.

What do they think I'm a bank?

I never have change. Nope. Sorry, don't have change.

Even if I have $300 in fives in my car (Private Parties) I don't have change.

Can't tell you how many times I've managed to keep the last $20... or even $60 when they failed to produce the correct amount!

OH! I do something similar sometimes (usually waitressing, not Parties or clubs)... I change the money and take like $5 and say, "And this is the bank's processing fee..."
