Default MAC to launch new MINERAL powder foundation

MAC will be launching their new Mineral foundation next week; titled Mineralize SP15 Foundation Loose.

The texture of the foundation will be similar to the Mineralized Skin Finshes - which create a satin-like finish - but in loose powder form. The powder also contains vitamin E so it is not as drying as the Bare Essentials foundation and an applicator is also included.

Anyways just thought i'd let you gals know because I know many of you love MAC but can't tolerate their foundations; so hopefully this may work better for you.

Just tried it the other day (I'm working freelance for MAC now)! I'm very pleased.
I may just be tossing out the rest of my Bare Minerals. When it comes to liquid foundation, I still say Chanel is waaay better than MAC though. *sssshhhhhh!* LoL.

I'm excited to try this. Last week I got a call about this stuff and an event my local counter is having. I'm probably gonna try this as soon as it's out and will give my review as well.

Thank you for the heads up. My current powder is too dry and matte. Will try this...

Oooh, thanks! I actually need some new foundation, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up with something MAC (I like MUFE, but I don't have a sephora near me). Maybe I'll try this!

Bare Minerals didn't make my skin dry at all. In fact, I know of some other people who said it exaggerated the shininess. If the MAC powder has good coverage, I will be buying it next.

I guess I'm out of the loop... is it a foundation or a loose powder that goes OVER your foundation... or both? How does it last?

It's a foundation in mineral powder form. It gives great coverage, and is just about the healthiest foundation you can put on your skin. Their website can explain a little more to you: http://www.bareescentuals.com/id/

I agree, it does make me a little more shiny. But I never used a foundation on my skin that didn't. It's not AS shiny as all the others at least. I top my Bare Mineral's w/a light dusting of Chanel pressed powder, then my complexion's fabulous!
