I don't like black lights either. They make the club too dark. I much prefer a red or white light, even though they do make me look more pale. It's nice to be able to see people, and be seen.

Red lights are the worst lights you can put on the body - it makes cellulite stand out and even invents the appearance of cellulite on girls who don't have any cellulite. It's awful.
I wish my club would get more black lights (or UV as we call them). We only have one spinning one. I bought these shoes that glow under UV and im disappointed that the whole club isn't covered in them.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
I like them. They make costumes look totally rad and I think I look better and definitely more tan. Custys seem to like them too. There is one part of my club though that has way too many, and then my blonde hair and my teeth freak me out a little too much.
I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily

I like black lights also- I'm not comfortable when the club is too bright.
Women of color:
Shake your ass and preserve your heritage.
Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time. (bad-dominicana)
I like blacklights, I have pretty pale skin and they make me look a smidge darker. I also have a uv reactive tattoo up my spine. My club does have quite a few blacklights, but there are all sorts of lights all over, so you can only see my tat in certain spots.
One club I worked at had a blue light in one of the VIP rooms. That was awful awful awful.... I looked like all the blood was drained out of me. Refused to dance in there until they changes it.
With all the stupid things guys will say, stay cool.![]()
"Her apartment is littered with soggy G-strings and cheap 8-inch heeled shoes, along with empty tubes of body glitter, mascara, prescription drugs, zit cream, Aqua Net and Polaroid pictures of her and her "friends" engaged in some drinking and dancing on St. Patrick's Day last year. "My God....

We have black lights and red lights at my club, I like a little bit of the both of them, as long as they don't put on the strobe light! That makes all of us look awful in stark white light---not to mention the blinding effects while I'm trying to do a pole trick.
The blacklight and I have a hate love relationship. In our club we have all sorts of lights, but the backrooms are all blacklight. It makes me look good overall, but when I was very little a disoriented drunk man swung at some bystander, missed and hit me. Aside from knocking me out I got a large chip off of one tooth. It was cosmetically fixed and looks fine in the day...however in the blacklight my teeth look white, except for the part that was fixed...it's a very brown color and looks very awkward. I've never had anyone say anything about it, and actually people are usually going CRAZY over my smile. So it must not be as big a deal as I made it out to be.
The nicest thing ever said was about my smile. I was told I had a smile like Katie Curic and should get it insured...her smile is worth thousands of dollars.
I winked and told him mine was too...so pay up (jokingly). He was a nice guy and spent plenty of money too![]()
