Does anyone know how bad the scaring around the areola and down the breast is after you have a breast lift? I am getting mine down this spring and I'm a little nervous! Is there anything that you can do to help them cover up While they heal

And, if possible, who has pics? I'm curious to see before and afters, if possible.
It varies from person to person in terms of how the body heals, the surgeon's technique, etc. If you've had other scars that have ended up flattening out and being pretty close to your skin tone, and you take care of your incisions, those scars will likely heal up well also. Ask your plastic surgeon if you can see some of his/her before and after photos.
Some people get good results from using silicone scar sheeting or products like Scarfade; try googling those for more info. Also, be willing to be patient, because it can take 18 months to 2 years for scars to fully mature.
www.implantinfo.com also has lots of photos of lifts, and links to plastic surgeons' sites with lift before/afters.
Good luck!
