I did a search for Valentine's day but message said there was an error, so forgive me for creating a repeat thread. I'm interested in your experiences working this night. Is it busy/slow? Type of clientel? Any other stories? Thanks!

The last VDay I worked was years ago, in Pa. I was one of only 2 dancers that night, and the place was packed full. I had VIP rooms lined up for the whole 8 hour shift, people willing to wait in line 3 hours for me. In between VIP's, I did quick stage sets to keep the waiters happy. It was a crazy night. I had a few couples, mostly lonely men though. The couples were all really cool, out for a night of naughty fun on V day.
Haven't worked one in Vegas yet though, not that i recall anyway...so if I have worked one, it wasn't eventful enough to remember.

I avoid working V Day night as much as possible.
Already my club can be generally full of couples who are the least "spending" patrons of the place... I never approach them as I know that they are the last type of patrons in the club to be customers of the club (thus customers of any dancer).
My lasting stripper memory of working on V Day was when I was working in another local club back when it was more prosperous. Anyway, the place was pack full of COUPLES and nothing was happening. They were quite fine with paying entry to look and that was it. Hardly ANY of them went for a dance. It was awful.

I've only worked one vday and that was back in hawaii.....it was a waste. I think though that it depends where you are at what your club is like. the club i'm at now is more upscale than the place i was at in hawaii and I imagine that if my regulars new I'd be working vday then I'd be quite busy. try asking some of the older girls at your club or maybe management might have an opinion.![]()

last year i worked day shift on vday, and it was snowing so the club ended up closing at 8. i dont remember if i made money or not. actually, i think i had a customer come in.
All the vdays I've worked have been shit. Full of non spending PL. And especially depressing PL at that.
The world's most uncoordinated stripper
The Valentines Days I've worked have been average to slightly sucky. I don't endorse them.

The only Valentine's Day I've worked was last year. It was a pretty normal night EXCEPT that there were fewer girls than usual, so everybody made money. I think it was my best day of the month.
I've asked girls around here who've worked it and they all seem to think it's good.
Last year my club closed in NY cuz of a blizzard.I'll try it if I'm around.
K is out of town this year so Valentine's Day = Thursday. I have nothing else to do so I'll work. I don't think I've worked on Valentine's before so hopefully it doesn't suck.
the only people who come in are couples it seems, so you get alot of tips but not too many dances

All I can say in regards to couples... is never underestimate the spending power of a male with a horny housewife on his hands. Just think of the bitches as your cash cows and milk them. Think VIP, not dances. Hustle the female for it, and let her check with her husband. The husband is even less likely to withhold what his woman wants on V-day, so your chances are better than normal. It's also a good night to practice your couple-hustle if you're not used to it.
Another usually necessary angle on hustling couples is to let them know that they are the norm (stretch the truth!) and that you have a few couples that come in to do private rooms with you once a month or so. They'll begin to think they've been missing out on something all along. Oh... and you "love" dancing for couples.
That said, haven't decided on working V-day yet. Probably will though since it's a Thursday.
im pretty new so havnt worked it before, everyone at my club says they want it off but then a older one said it would be busy. it could be busy but im thinking who wants to go to a strip club on valentines day (they might think they look sad?)
Bingo. Fewer dancers = more money for the ones who DO show up. Last year was pretty normal, I seem to remember making good money off out-of-town travelers. Valentine's Day is only a big deal to men if they have girlfriends they have to entertain. Single guys and guys who are traveling away from their wives couldn't give a %$&% if it's Valentine's Day.
Dude I fucking hate Valentine's Day. My mother died two days before Valentine's Day a few years ago. I ended up spending that Valentine's Day in all tears with my ex, who also died later that same year. So as a result, I totally hate Valentine's Day.
Also, Valentine's Day is the birthday of a loser boy who was a royal cunt to me in the past and shoulda never been born. Because he was born, his father stayed with the mother(i.e., 2nd wife), which took the father away from the kids he'd had with his 1st wife. This resulted in a broken family for the kids in the 1st family, who I was a LOT closer with than the loser product of a second marriage.
My club is doing a "Lock & Key" v-day party, guys get keys girls get braclets with locks, if the guys key unlocks a bar staff they get a 25cent drink, but if it unlocks a dancers they get a free V.I.P. lapdance! I just love when my club volunteers me to give out free dances, at least its only one though, cause only one key will fit...
Can't help it, I'm a born....[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I seem to recall making good money on valentines day/night, but that was 5 years ago.

I say in the end it depends on the dynamics of the club itself. All I know is that couples that spend any money on a lap dance (considering it will cost them $45 for a 5 minute lap dance ($30 normally for a single person), $75 for a 10 minute lap dance ($50 normally for a single person)) in my club are a rarity. A real rarity.
Whenever my club is filled up with purely couples (and it has at various times on various nights) it is usually the most "poor" time of night for us dancers.
Thus I know for a fact that it is just going to plain suck on V Day with (most likely) even more couples out on the town.
Oh.. we also go full nude on stage for free... so these 'horny' couples can easily get their rocks off without having to spend anything more than entry and drinks (if they spend on drinks even!!).
I know who the spenders are in my club and couples (male/female) as well as females in general are at the bottom of the barrel.

I've never worked a Valentine's Day, but probably will this year. I'll wear something pretty and red, and hopefully snag that lonely out-of-towner looking for a date who's just aching to hand over his wallet to me.

Well my boyfriend and I are going out to the strip club on Valentines day. I'm more of a sit at the stage and tip kind of girl, but I know I'll be treating him to dances so he better treat me back!
So never underestimate couples is right. If the 18+ clubs (oh how i love being a baby...lol) had VIPs I'd have no issues doing one for the boy on Vday.
