Default Modeling for other clubs ads

I work at the Dolphin clubs, but I really want to promote casa diablo because I'm so excited about it. I don't want to quit the dolphin because it's pretty much guaranteed money, even if it is a little low right now, but I don't want to not promote and work some shifts at casa diablo either.

I remember in the past there was a girl who worked at the dolphin briefly who did an ad for another club in exotic magazine, and when the managers at the dolphin saw it, they fired her.

If I do promo ads for casa diablo (flyers, maybe exotic mag, website) do you think the dolphin can or will fire me??

I hope not!!! anyone know?? I know theres a bunch of girls who work at other clubs in addition to the dolphin, but I don't know of any who have done ads for other clubs while still working there.

I'd be very careful because this kind of thing is usually not a good idea if you want to stay working at the original club. if the risk is worth it to you that's one thing but if not I'd not continue do ads for other clubs and just hope no one in management finds out about the ads you've already done.

It's probably not a good idea for the simple reason that they also run a big ad in Exotic. I know they got mad at on the the Miss Nude Oregon winners when she did an ad for another club. It shouldn't be a fireable offense because we are independent contractors, but club owners can be capricious.

Gypsy, if you want to keep working at the Dolphin 1, I suggest you not do this. At the very least casually ask Dean about it before you do it. Say something like "What's the Dolphin's policy at working at and promoting other clubs?" You might even want to keep the fact that you're working at another club a secret.

Yeah, strip club owners can be weird about this stuff.

Why must YOU be on the adverts?

Just work at Casa Diablo and keep it hush until you feel that CD is "guaranteed money" over D1 Plenty of girls make good money without ever having to be on a website, ad or anything in re any strip club. Plus once they have your image, they can use it forever even long after you have finished with this industry.

After the experience of a girl locally here I won't model for a club ever.

I think this is a good point. I saw your photos and you are totally gorgeous and have a beautiful figure. I think it's fun to take photos and even good for one's self esteem to have something to look at and say "Damn, I look hot!" (and you do!).

However, I don't see why a club owner needs to take 700(!) photos of you. Most of the ads in Exotic are shot by actual photographers, not the club owners! If he has already bought the ad space in Exotic, you should have been able to meet with Carl, London, or whomever does their photography now. Even if Johnny seems like a nice guy, he is not a professional with a studio, professional equipment, Photoshop skills, etc.

This is a usually big no-no in all the clubs I have worked.

Well, theres another thread where a girl was fired from her club for modeling for another clubs ad - if that means anything...

    Hi Priscilla,

You don't know me. Actually, I am a professional photographer with over 20 years of photography experience and professional equipment. I was a photographer long before I was club owner. It is not uncommon for professional photographers to take 350 shots per hour. Some can take as many as 1000 shots per hour or more.

Exotic has their own photographers for their magazine. These shots were not for Exotic Magazine. They were for Casa Diablo's in house marketing and as agreed between myself and Gypsy will not be scheduled for release in our advertisements until Gypsy feels completely secure with her income level here.

    Regards,

    Johnny

Um, haven't you only been a club owner for a week?

Gypsy, hope you read the model release if there was one, and are getting compensated.

Maybe do something like a photo with another girl that shows her face but not yours? Then even if they suspect it, they don't know for sure it's you.

Having done a billion and one photoshoots I have to agree. Sometimes Ill do a shoot where theres 1000 shots and only a few are usable due to lighting, facial expression, pose, whatever... sometimes I dont like any of the photos.
