Default Question for Colorado Dancers (Boulder/Denver)

    hullo again.

so now that i have auditioned at bustop and gotten that out of the way, i am planning on spending the next week or so working on my balance and strength before seeking auditions at some of the denver clubs. my question is this though: which are probably the better clubs for someone like me - new to dancing, very much a tomboy, little rough around the edges, androgynous, etc - to audition at?

one friend of mine who i hang out with sometimes - he has a banjo, i have a steel guitar, it makes sense - works as the bathroom attendant at PTs and he recommended auditioning down there. but any suggestions or recommendations would be suuuper appreciated.

It can be difficult to make a recently single man pay for sex when he knows that a quick trip to the local watering hole would secure at least one hard drunken tumble for far less cash. It is even more difficult when he is something of a dead ringer for James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and possesses the sort of awkard charm and confidence that brands a man like him as a lady killer.

Why do you feel you need to work on your balance and strength?

Shotgun's and La Boheme have a better variety of girls, but they still like even the "alternative" girls to look approachable and feminine. If you're comfortable PMing me a picture, I'll be able to tell you if your look would fly at either place.

Cause when I first auditioned I slipped around a few times? : )

I am not a clumsy entertainer by nature - most of what I do is physical - but the addition of the heels just kinda threw me off. And yeah, once I get back to my own computer I will PM you photomographic stuff.

Just slap some grips on the bottom of your shoes and move slowly... you'll be alright!

It's not really western themed, unless you count the saloon doors in the mens room, and I'm sure your Shotgun is way cuter than this joint!

For shoe grips, just go to any Target, Walgreens, etc... they're just the gray/black rubber textured doodads with the peel off adhesive back you stick to your shoes. Together with a pair of platforms with ankle straps, you got yourself classic stripper training wheels

    ohhh well.

the absence of sawdust and spitoons is probably a good thing anyway.
