hey everyone
so, after another long break from dancing (and going back to waitressing...) i am going back to dancing.
i have finally booked my flight to sydney, which cost me all of my savings, so have two months to make £1000 plus rent and bills money, so, im going to try my hand again at dancing.
ive grown up a lot these past 6 months so i am hoping my new found self confidence and all the other stuff ive grown into will help me make the money i need and for good measure, ive bought three new dresses and a new pair of shoes, so i can feel fresh!
to update you on the last time i was dancing, remember i briefly posted to say i was working at a new club and really enjoying it? well, it got to a point, as it always does with me, where i was going to work and leaving after ten minutes, the thought of having to convince a tight assed time waster making me sick to the stomach. eventually i was told not to bother coming back, so i didnt and got a waitressing job.
sure i miss the money for the hours. i went from working 3 nights a week and making £500 a week to working 40hrs a week and making £200 a week...
i am considering going to dance somewhere in europe because i am convinced English guys are just time wasters and really, the choice of clubs in london are either too expensive, too exclusive or too dodgy, or ive worked in them and wont work there again.
so i applied at thebestdancers.com and they sent me an email about a club in croydon, if any UK ladies know about this club, pls give me the heads up because im thinking of booking myself in for a couple weeks.
its winter here now, so im not sure if there is money in the clubs. its costing me a small investment to get back into lap dancer mode - shoes, dresses, nails, tan, hair extensions, but in a way, im looking forward to it.
im also nervous about it. i know im not a top earner and that i get easily annoyed with the job. i dont want to put in all this effort to get back into it only to lose money again. i still see lap dancing as a gamble. you never know if youre going to make money or lose money.
i do know now, that if there are customers in the club, its up to me to make the money. no one can do anything about a custy-less club.
but, i read avalon's blog everyday, and im going to dust off my dancerwealth course and get it on my ipod and ive started working out again, alternating with yoga and pilates with squats and lunges and abs workouts.
actually, im looking forward to it. im just under pressure to make that £1000 for Sydney by the 3rd April and afford to pay my bills.
Wish me luck!![]()
