I buy a few new ones every 3-4 months. They're expensive! & I keep them until they wear out. I get attached.
I buy a bunch of stuff anywhere between 1-3 times a year. And then I just wear the same stuff. I probably spend between 700-1500 a year on work outfits and shoes.
1-3 a week every other week or so, but I don't just wear them to work...I go to fetish parties and theme parties on my free time soo I always have to have something new. (plus i give away old stuff I'm bored of 2 new girls) and my bag has been stolen from my car before soo I had to replace alot.
I really don't spend that much consider I don't wear that much soo it's alot less then when I shop for jeans and tanktops and stuff to go with that(underwear, bras, socks ect) so I don't see it as that much. Now fetish outfits are real costly real fast, but you buy a few major pieces you can wear with anything/mix and match and they last as long as you keep up with them.
I have discount cards at all the major stores for dancers 10-20% off--plus I am real good with sales my shoes run less then 30 a pair, my outfits anywhere from 15(out of a bag or sale rack) to 50(if I made bank and really like something) over that only if some1 else is buying it or I love it and have to have it for reasons that go far beyound wearing it for work.
Playboy also does real nice sales online when they want to change thier stock around. Plus other dancers and customer give me stuff all the time when it looks like something I would wear or it doesn't fit them anymore.

one or two every few weeks if I can get a good deal. I tend to lose interest quickly and then come back to them a few months later or sell off the ones I don't like.

Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."
^^That is my motto, for pretty much everything.
My outfits are simple, I buy one once every month or so. A local sewer from one of the shops will make it for me. They are really so simple that I think they are cheap.
Shoes I will buy ever other month or less. I get the old pair fixed and they become my back ups.
I work 5 nights a week or more.
I tend to but a few evry few months. I wear something until its done or I don't feel sexy in it anyome. If this happens I keep the outfit coz sometrimes I get bored of something then come back to it in a few months time.

About every three months, maybe. I have a bit of a time finding what I like and what fits, so I'm not as tempted. I think I tops spent $2-300 last year on clothes and that was just because I needed new stuff to start again.
I buy new clothes maybe once every couple weeks. I am really bad about trying something on in the store and liking it,so I buy it. But then once I've gotten it to work I decide that I'm not as into it as I thought I was. I've done this with sooo many outfits. Or either I wear it and it turns out to be a bad night, thus deeming it "unlucky,"and never wearing it again. -and I am not even a superstitious person by nature.
Am I the only weirdo who does this?

Maybe once every one or two months I'll go on a sewing rampage and make 2-3 new outfits. I've had and excessively worn my favorite shoes for four months now and they are so beat up I'll be needing another pair out of necessity.

I am cheap, so when I want a new outfit I just sew it myself. I usually end up making something new every week. As for BUYING new stuff, that is rare. I think I bought maybe two outfits since July.
Argh! I'm like this. If I have a bad night in something I'm really bad for blacklisting it. I'm also superstitious about other things in work, like if a guy gets 5 or 6 dances in a row in one booth I'll try and dance in ther all night as I think its "lucky." Its weird coz I'm not superstitious at all outside of work.

I'm super super cheap and don't get something new till it wears out, which hasn't happened yet. I am half-heartedly looking for a new outfit that is more flattering than the original two piece on that I started with, but honestly I'll probably never really buy a new one.
I can't even convince myself to buy new regular clothes even though they are WAY too big and I've literally had them sense middle school or they wear my moms old stuff from 18 years ago....its pathetic....
^^wow thats crazy...so correct me if i mis read, but it sounded like you just said you will never ever buy a new outfit ever?

I typically would go on "stripperwear binges" over at the Hustler store 2 to 3 times a year - used it as my "reward".

I buy a few things here and there. But I think I hardly buy stuff because sometimes the girls at work give me their stuff and I give them my stuff when we're done with it. Maybe like every 4 months or something. Most stuff doesn't fit my hips...but not for long.

blondie- Untill the strap breaks off, tears or something then no I wont ever get one.
Even when people buy me new clothes I always end up wearing the same old stuff I had...I'm just really weird. I'm trying to convince myself to buy some jeans that fit with the money I mad last Saturday....I just cant. I even HATE and am so sick of wearing the same shit but I get to the mall and panic and can't buy anything, meh.

I buy new outfits just like I buy regular clothing. Whenever I see something I like I get it.
Since we have a stripperwear business now, I throw in new outfits or shoes randomly as I order new stock.
I always tell girls that it is NOT a good idea to wear the same outfit into the ground, and that goes for shoes too. They get worn out and dingy that way. Every dancer should have at least 3 pairs of shoes that they switch up nightly, and enough outfits so that they could work several weeks without having to repeat themselves. That way outfits can last up to a year or more and still look fresh.
not nearly enough

I think it's about time to buy some new outfits. It's been a while, even though I still have outfits I haven't even worn yet.![]()
