    Default CR Dissapointment...

Last night was my fourth night, and it was really great. It was the first time I made a lot of money; I felt confident finally...and it was just a good night.

EXCEPT: I was so stoked because this guy wanted to go to the CR...I had to pay $20 to the dj to skip going on stage because I thought the CR would be well worth that 20...but I didn't get any of the money from selling it! He did bought a lot of dances from me, which I'm definitely greatful for that money, but I was really excited to be selling/getting the money from my first CR.

Does anybody else work at a club like this? And if you can't get big $$ from a CR, what would be an average and good earning night for you? I made around $400, and I was excited about that...

What city in Texas are you working in? CR doesn't really mean anymore money down here, just more privacy and an opportunity to sell a bigger string of dances at once.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, none of the clubs I've worked or visited around DFW gives dancers a cut of a champagne bottle sold. But, where I've worked, it's the exception to the rule to be doing regular rate dances in CR/VIP- ideally you should charge by the hour, or charge more per dance, or require minimum X dances to go with him, ect. I think it's also kinda odd that they made you pay an additional $20 to skip you- girls, am I wrong in thinkin most places skip a girl when she sells champagne? Anyway though, $400 ain't bad!

As for averages, mine comes out to about 75/hour, and I'm happy with that or at least $500 for a full shift, but you'll soon find out earnings can fluctuate wildly so don't get too attached to 'norms'. E.g. In the last month, I've come home with as little as $200, and as much as $1100. Same club, same outfit even lol

Yeah I find the $20 "skip stage" fee to be rather odd, too. Ah well I guess every club has different policies, and any chance the management/DJs can squeeze out more money from the dancers, they will do.

However, I'm happy to hear that the customer bought multiple dances from you...that made the $20 "skip stage" fee worth it! (sometimes you have to pay money to make some money) And $400 is pretty decent, especially for it being one of your first days! I remember when I first started dancing, and I didn't make much the first 2 days(then again, I didn't expect to; I treated the first few days as more of an "orientation/adjustment period" more than for making money) but then on the 3rd day, I made around $300-400, similar to you. It feels great to leave with all that money, doesn't it?! I hope you have more big days coming up! Good luck!

That's completely right. Sorry, honey, but it's an important newbie lesson learned. You need to sell blocks of your time on top of what the champagne room costs.

$300-$400 dollars an hour is most common in Dallas from what I've seen. You'll never get a cut of the champagne bottle sold around here, at least.

I find that the skip stage fee, as i've said in manny other threads, is completely worth it *only* if the club is packed or you're with a high spending custy. You have more chance of making big bucks on the floor than on stage. no brainer, IMO. /end TJ

    Love it!
