I've worked with all of the above (Except henna red, tho I haven't noticed any difference in amount of men hitting on me IRL) and can't report a difference.
Altho my least fave is blonde, got much more disrespect from the whole general public.
For some reason I think the answer to this is just honestly: "it does not matter."

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

you know, my hair is always red (of shades varying from near blonde to fire engine to orange-red) and i have noticed the exact same thing when my hair is very light and looks blondish (which is not often). there was a week a few months back where i was blonde due to a dye mishap... and i swear the customers treated me worse.
good to know i'm not the only one.

I don't think it matters much but the majority of girls at my club are brunette and it tends to be that if everybody's brunette except for one girl with a different haircolor (typically blonde) banks. I think I'm gonna dye my hair red.

Oh yes. Being blonde brought out way more perviness. Think of fantasy meaning= bitches, underage girls, dumb whores, etc.
There was a huge noticeable difference in the way almost everyone acted, even my coworkers at a hotel who I'd worked with as a brunette the previous year! (on-call job) And sales associates, etc. People explaining things over and over, second guessing what I had to say, like always double checking with every one else. It was way too noticeable to be just in my mind!
I know there are a lot of blonde women out there, so I just don't understand. But, hey, precisely the point right? I'll leave it to the other blonde girls to be blonde, brunette's better for me!
Im blond and never noticed being treated worse than others.
I was thinking of going Marcia Cross red but im skeered............

For me personally, doesn't make any difference.
I don't consciously treat blonds any differently, but now I'm really going to watch myself.
I agree with the idea of evaluating the other girls in the club and doing something that sets you apart.
