    Default DancerWealth Newsletter

I get the newsletter occasionally in my email. I think I'm supposed to get one every month, but it comes sporadicially.

Anyway...This months newsletter was quite good. I don't think I can repost it here..but did anyone else recieve it? It is very fitting for SW, as soo many gils always are asking will this day be any good? How's New years? How's Superbowl, how's V day...This newsletter addressed that topic, and really hit the nail on the head.
The newsletter also addressed how to handle this..and treat each day as if it were a big day. Treat each day like new years eve. good info.

Anyway...anyone else get the newsletter? Thoughts?

Obviously DW's still lurking here, and using current discussions for newsletter topics. hehe

Those who read the newsletter will know that the article within that newsletter was actually inspired by what someone said to him when he was talking with her. Not what is happening on SW.

It just so happens the topic is universal and well timed.

I will agree that it was indeed a great newsletter this one. It was a great reminder for me personally even tho' I personally dislike working V Day.

just out of curiousity, why do you always defend him? i mean, it can say anything. that doesnt make it true.

Why bash him instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt? He is teaching a class designed to benefit strippers.

Girls in our industry more than others, always tend to be suspicious of others motives instead of trusting someone until they give us reason not to. Everyone is not out to get over on us.

^ well, the course was like, $1000 for the seminar, $450 ( I think?) for the home study course. That's really pricy. Espicially after I paid for the HSC and discovered what it contained. ( not much)
I've gotten newsletters for a long time now, sporadicially, and every single one of them has been useless. I even paid $15 for a packet of newsletters and it was useless. Waste of money.
He is a sales man. A damn good one. And a smart one, he markets peopel wioth money to burn and a desire to be better in their profession. But...his info isn't worth the price. Not even close. Hustle hut is better. and free.

I am not a DW supporter, after [payin for his stuff. I felt taken. But...this newsletter I felt was good. First one, but it was good. so anyway.... yeah.

Well, simply saying that his newsletter is most likely inspired by current SW discussions is hardly bashing. It's merely stating the obvious But seriously, who really gives a shit if he reads our posts and decides to use some of our topics of discussion for his free newsletter? It's not like he's hurting anyone by doing that. I just think it's amusing that he apparently still lurks here for inspiration

I re-post the DW newsletter on my blog, so it's not copywrited. It is also free to anyone who ever took the course.

Buffie, you'd be surprised at how many girls DON'T have common "sales" sense. I didn't when I first started. Just sit back and observe how the Subsistence Strippers sit around and whine how much "it sux" when girls like me, Bridgette, Tina, Kaylinn, GoldCoastGirl, and presumably you are banking.

I think he has an excellent product and I personally benefitted greatly from it. But my background was college book-smarts not common sense-smarts and I had ABSOLUTELY no sales background. I know I sound like a dip-shit but I honestly never looked at this business as sales until I took the class. I really thought it was because I wasn't skinny enough, or pretty enough, etc.

Kudos to the girls who can figure it out on their own, but for me...I needed someone to hold my hand and explain it to me in a classroom/tutorial format.

It is common sense...but sometimes we all need to read something to be reminded of how simple it really is.

I always always used to complain that weekdays are useless and money absolutly cannot be made. As a result, if I worked a weekday, I didn't make money.

Recently, I started going in on weekdays because it was my only option. When I realized it was a wednesday, my most dreaded day, and I had made over $400 in my first 3 hours, I was shocked and amazed. You can make money on a weekday! I never realized it was possible. Doesn't that sound silly? Of course you can make money on a weekday. It's just like any other day. If there are customes in the club, you can make money.
So I had just realized that before this newsletter came in, and so it really had good timing to remind me.

I have always thrived on busy weekends to make money, but I forgot that money can be made any day of the week....so although it may be common sense...sometimes you just need a reminder.

It's hard to keep the right mentality consistantly, espicially in slow times like now. It's very easy to get caught up in the mentality that money sucks because it's slow, therefor, it's not your fault if you don't make money, but in reality, that just isn't true. It may be harder to make money..but it's still there. If you changed yout thinking from "it's slow, money sucks" To, " It's gonna be packed full of rich guys who are big spenders" Your income will reflect that change of thinking. You just gotta wear blinders, sort of. Not focus on the change of economy, fake yourself out and pretend it's just as good as it was years ago...and your income will reflect that.

And that''s basicially what this newsletter was saying. Act as if each night is the best night of the year, and it can be, no matter what night it is. And althoguh this looks like common sense, it's easy to get caught up in negative throughts and forget such a simple idea.

I have a whole folder full of sales stuff, collected from HH, DW HSC, and various websites and sales books, and although most of it is common sense, or stuff I know my by heart, I read it every night before work when I'm in the bathtub. Just because althoguh I may already know...I need to be reminded each day. Plus it just helps to feel more prepared and ready to go, and psyched up and ready to do it. Believe me, my money definately reflects the difference between nights I read through my files and nights I don't.

Anyway...I'm blabbering. I'm sick and high on Nyquill and have no idea what I'm talking about right not. I hope it all made sense.

Have any of you consulted a financial advisor? I don't mean buying an at-home study course, but a sit-down appointment where the person goes over your situation with a fine-toothed comb. What did you look for in the person? Was it worth it?

I'm ashamed that I really don't get the stock market, or an IRA, and other kinds of investments.

I do know I'd like to keep being able to afford health insurance and eventually to afford disability insurance as well.

I feel like other folks manage their money better in this regard, so that even if their income and spending are identical to mine, their net worth is more because their investments are yielding more over time.

I'm slowly educating myself, but hell, I don't need to make mistakes during my learning curve, especially as I am managing a huge student loan debt and have ongoing medical bills.

Unless you have no debt and money to invest, a lot if your financial education can be done BEFORE you see a financial planner.

I recommend David Bach's Smart Women Finish Rich series. Lots of freebie info can be found at www.finishrich.com That is how I got started, and built up my capital for investing.

I am more of a risk taker with my investments (because your return is a function of your risk) so I personally avoid mutual funds and trade options. I don't recomend that to anyone who isn't willing to take the time to study the capital markets, but really...NO ONE can tell you the best way to invest YOUR money.

Curious seeker, it's never to late to start. I filed bankruptcy at the age of 25. Its been 5 1/2 years and I'm (almost) a net worth millionaire.

Holy crap! Thanks for sharing for the good possibilities. Apart from the investing, were there certain habits you changed?

Paris, thanks for the tip. I'm still finding my way around here.

I didn't expect to return to the sex industry, but it might be my best option.
