This is for all of the girls out there that say they love dancing and can't wait to get back or w/e.
Do you love the actual dancing? Or do you love the money?

For me it's the dancing, I don't need the money. I just love being on stage and dancing my little heart! Don't get me wrong it's nice knowing that I can get paid to dance!
Both.

Sometimes I love the power of it. Or when I really make someone's day. I have good days and bad days.
It's all about the money 4 me--don't get me wronge there are things about the job I enjoy on my free time like the late hours, naked women, music, drinking, and dancing however it's alot different when I'm doing it to entertain myself instead of customers I wouldn't even deal with if they didn't have money in thier hands for me.
Only as a highly scarastic joke do I ever say I don't need or do it for the money and that I'm just there for the attention becuz I that sad, bored, and lonely that have nothing better to do with myself ...Please if I didn't make serious bank I rather do just about anything else.
I did however loved my job when I worked Gogo dancing, cuz that kicked ass and I was paided nice to party(only it was a 2-3shift gig) that only paid out 150-200 a nite (plus bartab, guest list) for the 4 15min sets I would do. It was awesome interms of work for money considering I only had to dance for a total of 1hr, but over 4 hrs and the fact I had to party there all nite just wasn't enough for me however I was a club kid that just loved dancing expsecailly cage dancing over a mosh pit at clubs where I loved the music and the crowds. That was danicng for fun more so then money.

I love the stage dancing. I'm not a huge fan of the lap dancing, but that's where the money is and I love the money.
Both. For the most part my jobs alot of fun. I get to get dressed up, get a good workout, and have fun at work. I make my own hours. Nobody tells me what to do. Obviously the moneys a plus and I prob. wouldnt do it if it werent for the money, but thats only because of the big resume gap.
both, luckily my good days outweigh the bad.
just the money.
Both, but money was number one. I wouldn't be there if I was being paid minimum wage. Also the stress of dancing would get to me, hence the reason I am semi-retired for now. (At the ripe ole age of 22).
I don't mind dancing, in fact I actually quite like it, but I wouldn't do it if it wasn't for the money.
I wouldn't do it for free, that's for damn sure. It's hard work for me.
But no ammount of money would be enough to make me do something I hated. I've quit well-paying, much "easier" jobs before because they were just too boring and/or soul-killing, so I know where the trade-off lies for me.
The money.

I love both. I love the money, and I love the dancing, but I wouldn't dance unless there was money involved. Though right now, I really miss the dancing. And the money.
BTW, i can has 1000 postz?
After several years of dancing my ass off onstage like Snoopy at the parties on "Peanuts" cartoon..I realize I don't need to be an acrobat to make money. Lap dance hustling is where it's at, even though I don't enjoy those.
So I just love the money now..my body is beat up from the dancing.

Money was my bottom line.
Money. If it was about dancing, I'd be goddamned ballerina.

The money. But I think pole-dancing is fun. Lapdancing, not so much. That is strictly for the cash.
I dunno......the job just so happens to be the
--Best $$ ever made and
--What's come the most natural to me
I know it seems obvious for ppl to be good at it, but luckily it feels so natural to act sexy that I'm not like, forcing my body to do some shit it hates or something, I get the impression that others do just bc the $$ is so good.
Money and hot slutty chicks. I got my dance satisfaction through other forms of expressive physical movement.

I LOVE the dancing, is not so much about the money for me... but having read the "Las Vegas strippers become employees thread" I know that if earnings got below a certain point Id quit.

Stripping in its ideal form is something I do love. But, the reality of the intensity of the guys, the hard hustling on slow nights, the contact, that stuff really kicks my ass and keeps me from wanting to do it more often. So, if you're talking fantasy stripping like whirling around the pole, strutting around in heels, flirting with adoring customers, I'm all for it! But the way it really is, if it weren't for the money, I'd be done. That other stuff is still part of the equation at moments throughout the night, but it's not there enough to keep me doing it if the money went away.

I love dancing and being on stage. I'm such a shy person, but I love it anyway. Onstage I get to be a slinky, sexy thing. I don't even mind the lapdancing part if the guy's relaxed and keeps his hands to himself. I wouldn't do it for free or anything, but I don't desperately hate it.![]()
But the money, the hours-yeah. That's the par that makes it all worth it.
