    I have a staph infection in my finger and can't go to the gym until Friday. Monday, at the Dr., I weighed in and have gained 2 lbs. However, It was a heavy menstrual day. Plus, I've been eating really well and oworking out, but we've been drinking a lot of booze, and I know it adds up and causes even more bloating and retention.

    I'm pushing my goals back a few days since the gym is out for me this week.

    I'm also going to push back my goal day until March 9th or so. I've been down and out with a horrible cold these last few days. Ick.

    somehow I gained 5 pounds but lost a half and inch around my upper and lower thighs and and inch around my waist this month. Ive been letting my workouts slide and have been eating maintenance calories most of the month. Starting today im going to back to forcing myself to exercise and eating better.

    I can't put my stats as I am the heaviest here!

    Have started new low carb diet,
    Cutting out carbs,
    Soda,
    Caffeine,
    Alcohol.

    Am gona try to get to the gym 4 times a week.
    30 mins cardio X3
    Weights X1
    Am also starting back swimming X2 a week.

    Am aiming to lose 14lbs this month.

    Ok, here I go. I am 5'8" and 160lb. I finally got back in the gym. I already take an insane African/ Carribean dance class 2 hours on Fridays for the past two months. I have gone down two dress sizes, but still weigh 160lb. I don't eat alot (Maybe twice a day and very small portions). I am going to try eating several small meals a day and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. I will be going to the gym 4x a week. Mon,Wed: lower body. Tue,Thur: Upperbody. Friday: insane two hour dance class. My goal for the end of march is to get down to at least 155lb. or a size 6/7 in jeans (right now I am a 7/ 8 ).

    Not a setback babe!

    Check your clothes, do they fit well? Loose even?

    Muscle is more dense than fat, so while you could be burning fat and loosing inches you will gain a few lbs in the muscle.

    Weight is NOTHING compared to inches and body fat %.

    Ok well my plan is to cut those extra few pounds out and get to the gym more than 3x week. I NEED to be there for at least 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week and still do stuff on the weekends.

    I have to cut out 3-5lbs so I will make weight, and then work on endurance and standup skills. I know my kicks aren't bad but my punches suck and my takedown is even worse, lol! Ground and pound floor work is good though, I guess I am more of a ground fighter than standup, always have been.

    Hopefully, I can train my happy ass off till May when hopefully I will finally have my 1st fight!

    Still poking along, nothing fantastic, just keeping going. No soda still! Not been great on the food, but trying. I actually have some tricep muscles now though. All those downward dogs WORK! I can spin a lot easier now as well as climb the pole. Still a little ouchy after work, but not too bad. I have a sign of that line down my tummy now and I can see more muscle on my thighs (usually a challenge!). Yay for Rodney Yee!

    As for the splits I seem to have hit a plateau. I don't have the time to work on it all the time. Or even stretch. It's just incremental now. I carry so much tension in my hips, lower back and hamstrings. I can, however, clap/pop my booty better, so there must be some loosening of the muscles!

    I've been using Dr. Berardi's Precision Nutrition and info from T-nation for my weight loss. I've raved about it on another website. I've been doing very well. I started at 22 percent body fat using a calipers method, and have come down 1% in 3 weeks. I don't weigh myself often, because A) I become obsessive about it and gain weight, and B) I gain muscle quickly. I have seen GREAT results and just this week I feel like I've cut down fat, even though I'm seriously bloated and pms-ing. I upped my training regimen for MMA and have increased mental and physical stability. I'm hoping to drop at least one more percent, and an overall 10 pounds by my BA date, which is 3 weeks away. It's doable I think, depending on my fat to muscle ratio. I also started Tonalin CLA, and have been on that for almost 2 weeks now. I see results, but I'm not sure if it's from my nutirion program or the CLA.

    Next Friday, I weigh, measure, and re-caliper. One thing I have noticed is that I have almost no cellulite on my ass and thighs anymore. My ass is getting higher and rounder, and I've been comfortably hanging w my boy in short-shorts and some of my old stripper rompers. Pretty rad. I hit it really hard 3x this week, plus yoga coming up this Sunday. My muscles are KILLING me and I must rest tomorrow.

    I did break down this afternoon and get a fast food chicken sammich on wheat, but it was a serious craving. I hope to reach my fat reduction goals, so this coming week, less booze, more water, and don't forget the supplements.

    I only have a few stubborn fatty pockets now..back of arms, lower belly. This has been a great month. I may or may not reach 115, but I don't care.

    Good job to those of you who busted ass. I really, umm, didn't. I blame Wisconsin.

    Very seriously tho, today I went shopping and bought all healthy yummy food.... my goals are not weight related, even tho I would like to loose 10lbs, but I would really like to have a healthier relationship with food...

    Generally, I probably eat about 500 calories during the day, maybe a 200 calorie snack and then like 500 before bed... I always *think* I don't need to eat dinner (to loose weight, what have you) and then end up getting starving and eating after work.

    Also, I have the bad habit of drinking a lot of calories.... I drink a lot of wine, and also I am really bad about the juice/milk thing. So overall I probably ingest like 300 calories (3 glasses) of wine a day, and probably 300 of random stuff also....

    My goal is to cut out the crap juice and such and actually eat meals throughout the day like a normal person and not at night.
