Well that about fits in with what a girl told me one time.It wa a girl I was friends with OTC and I asked her once how or why she could put up with it? All I was asking about was the very high contact and she basically told me what you just said. She said she had to learn to tolerate it to compete with the foreign girls who were doing a lot more than just that. This is a girl I knew for a very long time and I can tell you for a fact it changed her.It effected her on a very personal level. Now speaking as a cust even just the very high contact took the fun out of it,at least for me.I thought it created a pressure or a tensioin that never existed before.Which is part of the reason I haven't been to a club in 3+ years. It also makes me wonder what the clubs bothe dancers and customer wise would be like if extras didn't exist.I can think of atleast 2 girls who won't dance anymore b/c of it and for them it's not even about extras. They like dancing, have no prob with any other aspect but can't and won't tolerate all the grabbing, groping etc..

Considering that I make a hell of a lot more money and have way more fun when I dance out of town, where extras arent an issue(at least not in the way they are here)....I think that if people wised up, we'd all make more. But you'd have to then suffer through a dip in business while the guys looking for cheap sex peter out and the good customers come back in. Nobody will take that lost time.

I didn't call any1 names other then to say they were not GOD or the all seeing powerful force they think they have a right to claim to be--which is my book is crazy.

Now there is prositution all over everywhere since the beggining of time. that is never going to change and yes it's going to happen at stripclubs (everywhere) as there are plenty of girls, guys, and money with sexual tempation being the focus. Da.

However I'm not going to let some stranger to me that is another dancer tell me what I'm making or how I'm doing it or tell me what my coworkers , lovers, and friends are when I know them and how they do it. Sorry maybe in your experience clean dancers can't do it, but in mine many do and often.

I'm not giving out my tax info but if you don't believe I bankl just go watch me work it and see it for yourself that I don't have to do any of that nonsense to make mine.

I don't appericate any1 here calling other dancers whores basied on what they make.

Well whether I'm rite or wrong I chose to believe it's an era type thing.A clean dance today isn't what it was 10 years ago,or 10 years before that.Anyway I appreciate the feedback on the local scene and no offense meant but it doesn't sound like I'm missing anything. That's not a shot at dancers or customers,it's just a different enviro now and doesn't sound like my type thing anymore.I could go into more detail simply based on the feedback but I'll just leave it at that.I guess as it goes you can't go back.

You are right. "Clean" now isnt at all the same as it used to be..not here. Just like "banking" isnt the same. The clubs here are still fun if you find the right one and the right girl...but there is way more drama and BS then there used to be. It isnt nearly as much fun as it was years ago...even as a customer now I SEE more because I've been behind the scenes too long and seen too much. I have more fun when I go out of town where I dont know the crap that goes on in the back.

Well a couple final things before I end this nostalgia trip. There's a few reasons I came here and asked instead of just going in and checking it out for myself. The main reason is I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic and yeah this is slight nostalgia trip but nearly to the vivid degree it would have been actually going into......any bar.I haven't been into a SC in more than 3 years but I haven't been into any bar in nearly 2 years.I was curious to know if they had gotten worse but not to the degree of tempting my sobriety.

The reason I said you can't go back is b/c,what I said above aside, yeah I could go into a club and there may be people that think if I don't want the other stuff it won't directly effect me.Now you may disagree but I think it does.I think it effects the overall atmosphere.I think a lot of the girls that had been around for a while had become more jaded, for lack of a better word. They became so used to the BS that unless they already knew the guy the expect the worst til proven otherwise. And I think the newer or younger girls weren't as laid back. They were more aggressive and had more of an attitude.I'm not trying to paint the broad brush and say every dancer was like that, just like like not every customer went in expecting more.I'm just making generalized observation based on personal exp from the last year or so of going.Yeah there were still some good, fun, laid back girls but b/c of all the BS they had to deal with in genral.... And as a customer trying to find those girls thru all the BS

What you said about seeing too much b/c you've been around for too long.If your around anything long enough you're more likely to see the dark side w/o even trying than someone who hasn't been around as long.

Finally I have to say one other thing that turned me away was that music.I'm an ex-musican ,a rock/metal guy to the core and I look like it.So music means a lot to me anywhere and I couldn't take having to listen to that......other stuff anymore. There may be people who think who cares about the music that's not what you're there for but for me music effects the atmosphere too and my ability or inability to enjoy a place

Clean is clean and banking is banking. Just like haters are still haters and prositution is nothing new not something that started taking over the clubs and ruining all the good money for clean dancers who have to collect stripper warefair here is sofl becuz there is sooo little for us..

As for Juice bars-- I think club Madonna on Washinton and around 20 something Sobe is susposed to be/ even though they sell beer atleast at the liqour store nextdoor or something. However I wouldn't be the 1 to be interested in a club that sold way over priced koolaid even if I rarelly drink on my shift even when the customer buys me wine it's really apple juice.

I know certin clubs only play certin types of music be it tencho or Hip-Hop, but generally mine has alittle bit of everything and will play anything for us we bring in (just no1 choices to dance to any Country or Jazz or Heavy metal among our dancers). However disverse our section is it really depends on your taste and I always hate the last 3 songs of the nite becuz the DJ is trying to kick people out with songs that are hint hint meant to clear the club, but ussually I'm lapdancing till the lights are on soo I know how much when the music sucks it's really hard to get into doing a dance..

Iwas in a S FL club talking to a dancer who went on stage to dance. While she was gone I went in the back for a lap dance, and this dancer come in with another guy and starts sticking her tongue out at me. when I was finished with that girl Iwent to the bar and the dancer told me she didn't need the money and she knew I spent $1oo on that other dancer. How do you handle that situation.

    S. FL is a hugeass headache most of the time but when it's good, it's really good. I regularly made well over a grand dancing clean when in season. But most of the money I made was from people from out of town down here for business or vacations. Anybody who even remotely looks like they might be from here, I don't even look at them when they try to get my attention. I hate locals. Seriously, fuck them all.
People from other states are truly wonderful. If they stopped coming, there would be no point for me to dance here anymore.
