to get married in, beach appropriate. I want a light color, but maybe not white.
Tea length, not long.
Does any one have any specific dresses to sugguest or websites?
thanks!

I'm not sure exactly what you'd like, but it's also available in other colors too.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
^ very pretty. Perfect for a beach wedding. I love it.
i thought you were wearing the one with the lace capelet like thing?? that one is soooo pretty!!!
but I guess not appropriate for a beach wedding..

^ I love that dress. Really cute and would look lovely on the beach.
I think some of these are pretty too:

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

oh that silky one is gorgeous! This is fun.
What kind of shoes were you planning on wearing Lola Rose? Are you going to go with heels or flats because of the sand?
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
i like this one.

... My personal fave simply because my gown was "inspired" by this one!

Oh..I hope you find the right one!!! I'm going wedding dress shopping on Sunday!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Ok, so I'm a little excited. A guy friend of mine is taking me and my girlfriend out to breakfast, and then my girl and I are going to david's bridal. I have an appointment there for Sunday!!!
This is my favorite dress:
Not sure if that will work or not.
I went shopping again today and tried on some dresses. I decided I HATE light colors on me. I love some of these dresses you all posted, but I think I'm so much prettier in bright vibrant jewel colors.
I bought a strapless jeweltoned blue dress, knee length, but I think I may return it.
I still need help though, if anyone wants!
thanks!!!!

You have excellent taste, Audrey- it's very similar to mine!![]()
When I first got engaged I saw the original Michelle Roth in Brides magazine (or some other bridal porn) and I was effin' in love with it... I reseached it and turns out it's a $3000 gown, wayyyyy out of my budget. I then found a knock off the Melissa Sweet "Petunia" which was the other dress I was drooling over.
About two months before my wedding, a bride on indiebride.com posted the pics of her Roth inspired Julius Bridal dress that she got for $400. In the end, I'm glad I went with my "Petunia", I bought it off the rack at a bridal shop and it fit like a glove... but if I found Julius Bridal sooner, I would've rocked those polka dots!!!
For shits and giggles, a few pics from my wedding... Mr. M and I changed for the reception.
Okay, done with my thread jack.

^ oh i loove the pink shoes! k, sorry for the threadjack!
yes, pics please lola!
found it!!! but i'm not 100% in love with it. But it was the last in my size, so I can always return it if I find one I like better. I tend to fall in love with clothes gradually.
But I'm so open to other dresses, especially one's carried at large chains (macys, saks, nordies, and such.) b/c I can go try them on. I don't want to spend more then 400$. I don't want cotton or linin, i like fabrics with a nice sheen. They look fancier too.
(mia, I <3 your dress!!! You look so beautiful, I'm glad you posted them! )
oh, so as you can see, I'm not going very traditional (and that dress looks so much nicer on me then the model, maybe I'll take pics of me later).
We're going to be barefoot for the actual ceremony, but I'll buy shoes for going out to dinner and such....

the only thing i dont like about that dress is the bubble. i got a bubble dress for new years and ended up not wearing it bc my friend said i looked like a christmas ornament.the color is gorgeous though!
LOVE the color! Cut is cute also, I'm sure you can rock that ANYWHERE!

... lemme tell ya, the model does this dress NO justice! One of my bridesmaids wore this in black and it was stunning! The satin detail on the hem makes the dress move beautifully and romantically and on a woman with some T&A, it's quite sexy yet refined.
- just a little over $400
How about a print? is gorgeous and very beach wedding appropriate... I'd love to see it with some fuscia accessories and a fuscia and orange tropical bouquet.
I <3 the printed one the best!!! So lovely, and beachy, but in the good way, ya know!?
I'm going to nordies asap!!!
