Default STripper outfit for under $5... and I banked!

Ok, just to be silly, I decided to create a super-cheap stripper outfit that cost me less than $5 at Wal-mart.

I bought a size small white wifebeater tank in the men's department, then cut it off right below my boobs. I took the bottom half of the tank and wore it as my "skirt", with the excess folded over the top. Found a cute pair of ruffly panties in the undies section for $1.96 and added a pair of white, mens over-the-calf tube socks (complete with the grey toes!!) and wore clear heels. Put my hair in two braids little-girl style and tied matching pieces of ribbons on each braid, and went out on the floor, dancing to "I want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow.

I think I brought every perv out of the woodwork, but the outfit was a hit and I did awesome! Just goes to show that you don't have to have a lot of $$$ to spend on an outfit. HAHAHA!

Anyone else done silly stuff like this?

There's a girl with that outfit in EVERY club. Seriously. Not original at all, but glad you did well in it.

On a similar note though, I've banked in a schoolgirl skirted thong that I got at Bell's Outlet for $2.50 over a year ago as well as a bikini top that I got from the kids section at walmart on clearance for oh... 3 bucks or so. You never know. Fuck paying $100 or more for an outfit.

    Hey, whatever works right???

I had similar experiences. I'd make great money with a cheap-y outfit, and then not make as much with an outfit I spent $80+ on.

It totally depends. Good for you!

Totally. My first few years I NEVER wore "traditional" stripper outfits I think the guys like it more because it's actually more fun - you're having fun and they can see it

I got some bra and panties set from Burlington Coat Factory for like $5 two years ago and it has been and is still my best outift. I always get the most compliments on it.

Well I never claimed it was original. LOL That wasn't the point I was making! My point was basically that anything can work. Guys never cease to amaze me with what turns them on.

I got a WalMart garter/skirt/thong and cut the thong out of it. It's been years and I still wear it all the time.

The first year i danced I wore hot pink boy type underwear wth a superman emblem on the front and a matching fitted baby tee. Cost was less than 10 bucks and I did really well in it, now I would feel too naked already in just that, but that was in a skimpy outfit club.

just curious...how much is "banked"? Because I could probably make good money wearing a burlap sack, but let's get real about what matters.

A lot goes into the equation of a good night, and an outfit is a tiny part of it. I can't imagine a guy who wouldn't normally buy a dance, choose to buy one because a girl is wearing a cheap wal-mart tank top.

naturally, but if it's like $500, then I don't think girls are going to run out to their nearest wal-mart, but if it was $2000, then maybe they will!

I think her point is being missed here. Is everyone on their period or something?

You're lucky you're able to wear what you like. Im tired of working in gown clubs where I dont feel sexy or fun in anything that covers my legs or is that heavy and large to wear.

Id probably bank if I got to wear an outfit like that purely because I FELT confident, fun and sexy. The outfit is only part of it and the price of the outfit is regardless, its your attitude that sells you more than what youre wearing.

If youre wearing every man's fantasy and hav a shitty attitude, youre not going to make money.

I got it But theres no way in hell I could get away with wearing that. Im just too old.

But i have noticed theres some kind of tube sock fetish at every club Ive worked at. Girls that wear them make good money. It always reminds me of "Dazed and Confused" cut offs, tiny top, tube socks. Flashback to the cool chick in school that the guys loved but couldnt get close to.

Good for you! Custies can tell if your feeling sexy, it definately carries over.

Personally, I'm over the T-shirt/tank top cut into a top and a skirt. There are some many girls at my club that do that, and the socks. i do have some t-shirts that Ive cropped and I wear them with a school girl skirt. My two favs are "After school special" and "Catholic girls do it better".

ive never seen that outfit so its new to me.

i always hated the mens dress shirt with tie outfit personally. i never knew why that outfit tends to do well.

Same here, but I think it was TJ Maxx or Value City. These stores can be hit-or-miss, but sometimes you can find really cool matching bra and thong sets in cool colors, or even bras with skirted thongs. They also have really cool fabrics like lace layered over satin. I've done so much better wearing these outfits than the overused $50-60 basic stripper bikini outfits they sell at the stores down on South Street in downtown Philly!

I think a lot of guys prefer these bra and thong sets because they actually resemble sexy lingerie. A lot of guys view lingerie to be sexier and more "forbidden" than a fluorescent bikini that mimics thing they see girls wearing on the beach each year.

I agree with the part about attitude/feeling sexy 100%!

However, I differ from you in the sense that I DO actually like wearing gowns. I am very tall and fairly thin with an hourglass figure, so my ankle-length gowns tend to accentuate my curves and lengthy figure. Because they are long, they also disguise my semi-bulging belly(DAMN I need to start working out again! lol), unlike belly tops or short skirts that leave a slight "muffin top". I also feel extra classy and glam when I'm wearing my gowns.

But every girl has a different preference for what outfits she likes or feels most sexiest in, so whatever works for her is what she should do!

I'm glad it worked for you. But it sort of reminds me of this girl I used to work with. I can't even call her a girl, she was like 32, but she looked a lot older. She wore sports bras and regular ugly granny bras and her t-backs were huge! Seriously, I've never thought of thongs as granny panties, but they were just fugly. But at the same time, she didn't really have the body to pull of something unorthodox, so ... Whatever works!

Haha, I know! It's not like this is in hustle hut or anything, just a cute story.

I look good in white tank tops and little skirts, so I might have to try something similar...

Ahhhh, I <3 wearing stuff that no one else at the club does. Always good to stand out! I have a million real lingerie sets, and make some of my own costumes : ). I haven't tried the white trash redneck slut look yet, but it's next on my list. Frayed denim mini skirts, wife beaters, and cowboy hats, fuck yes!!!

Hell yeah, here in Dallas they would probably go nuts over the "redneck slut" look! I actually saw a chick wear that exact outfit; frayed mini skirt, filthy white (or used to be white) garter around her ankle, holey wifebeater with strap hanging off one shoulder, and a raggedy old straw cowboy hat, cigarette hanging out of her mouth. She was at least 40 or so and cussed like a sailor. Crazy thing is that the guys liked it.

Main moral of my story - whatever works. Thanks to those who got it!

i don't think men care so much about we wear in alll reality women dress to impress other women. I realy belive that there is something about going into the dressing room in your new sexy brazzil awsome outfit and showing it off to your friends it dosent mean youll do better with the men but ull have fun showing it off.

I personnaly only wear good stripper gear but its not becuse its better its becuse i seriously have the i was a a teen in the early 90's need to flash an expenisive brand to feel happy habbit and I admit it lol

Because the guys like to imagine a girl tossing on their shirts after doin' it.

I mean, everyone who's never worn a bra from Target at the club, raise your hand. Damned if I'm wearing my designer lingerie in a bar.
