Default Balling up dollars and throwing them at dancers

    Guys, please don't.
Thankfully I have only had this happen to me a few times since I have been dancing. I am on stage and I feel something pelt me and it is a dollar bill that someone has crushed into a tight little ball and it is chucked at me...hard.
It's really rude and borderline insulting. I am not sure if this is a good thing but I definately don't take it as a compliment if it is meant so.
Last night I was on a side stage, getting a tip from another customer, being really sexy and "in my moment" when I got hit in the forehead....hard...with a balled up dollar. It ruined the moment for my customer and downright embarassed me. I confronted the guy I saw do it and all him and his friend could do was sit there and laugh.
It's not funny. It's not cute. It's ridiculous! STOP.
I am not sure the reasons why people do this...if it's to be a jerk and get a good laugh...please read the bold print...again.
If it's cause you are too lazy to get up/too embarassed/too whatever to tip me on stage, wait till I walk by and grab my attention, then hand it to me like the nice gentlemen I know you are

That is indeed annoying... I keep a few quarters in my purse, and chuck their "change" back at them. Got one guy right in the teeth once... It ruled.

I've been known to throw it back at them. I fucking hate this. Hate hate hate. I will ask them nicely to stop, then tell them to knock it the fuck off, then they're getting pegged in the head with it.

The ONLY way you get to throw dollars at me, is if you're throwing hundred dollar bills. Not ones.

I'm in agreement that wadding dollars is imbecilic unless there's a club organized game of cooterball going on, and even then the customer should try to aim for the glass, not the dancer's face.

Since were on the subject, whats everyone's stated policy on folding them. Some clubs have a "moat" rule where there has to be a legally mandated distance between customer and dancer while she's undressed. The only way you're going to be able to tip a dancer is to throw it at the stage (assuming that the club doesn't have a jar). Unfolded money doesn't exactly fly very well.

In the past, some dancers have found even this practice to be demeaning, or at the very least an inconvenience because all that folded money had to be picked up off the stage, then unfolded and faced.

    I completely agree!

And, on a similar topic, why do guys wanna try and throw balled up dollars and my vag?? (I work in a full nude club) Dude, I do NOT want your dirty dollar touching my bits. I don't know where that thing has been, up whose nose, doing what... keep it away from my best friend. K? Thx.

If guys can't reach the stage, then I don't really mind if they throw balled up bills at the stage while I am performing although actually throwing them at me? I'm not cool with that.

I used to get pissed about this but the last club I worked at was behind the bar and, although we went around and collected our tips after the stage show, now and again guys liked to give us extra by throwing balled up bills at the stage. Yeah, at the stage, not at us. Under these circumstances I have no problem. I still collected off the same guys after!

I think a certain percentage of guys use this as a compensatory mechanism - they don't want to confront the idea that the girls primary motivation for dancing for them/talking to them is money.

So they try to compensate for their feeling of inadequacy by doing something they regard as demeaning for the girl - i.e. throwing a wadded up note.

Pretty good way of proving they're anal retentives with no manners.

I don't mind when people throw dollars at my stage (even if they're balled up, though I'd prefer they weren't), as long as they aren't thrown AT me. Same with paper airplanes, folded dollars, etc. As long as they are thrown at the stage, I'm good. Hit me, you'll die.

This used to happen now and then at my old club but it's pretty normal at my current club. I don't think it's the classiest thing in the world but it doesn't aggravate me. I've never been hit in the head though, that would piss me off. It's a bit of a pain picking up the scattered balls and straightening them out, but I've had much worse problems then that in life lol.

Haha! If someone in this town actually gave a 100$ bill on stage, I would be too busy trying to figure out of I was dreaming or what to be pissed off, even if they did ball it up and chuck it at me!

In my state you are allowed to get as close as you want to the dancer on stage to tip, and you are even allowed to put it in our g-string. So there is no need to fold it up or ball it up and throw it on stage. Folded money can be an inconvenience, especially when I have a line of tippers. It's easy to lose or drop.

Yes, this is my whole point. Not AT me. And don't try to tell me it was an accident either when you and your buddies are sitting there laughing afterward. Jackasses.

I agree, they're annoying but fine as long as they don't hit me.

I did have a good friend who came in once who could do some pretty cool origami. I went to get his tip, and he had folded into a t-shirt.
He said, "Look, I made you a shirt since you don't have one!"

I died laughing, I think I still have it somewhere.

this happened to me last night when a bunch of gangster basketball players wanna-be black guys and a bunch of black guys came in and sat at the rack, ordering the girls to "spread em" and "clap that ass" and a bunch of other rude and derogatory orders, all while throwing crumpled 1 dollar bills at us, I targeted the main culprit, stole his hat off his (bald) head and climbed up to the top of the pole for the duration of the song. When I was done with my set, I used the hat to collect all the crumpled balls of dollars, and brought it into the dressing room with me, I was considering just keeping it and selling it on ebay because the tags were still on, but I got a guilty conscience and threw it back at his head a couple songs later.

Like others have said, I don't particularly enjoy when guys throw $ balled up, but I can deal if it's the only way you can get a tip to my stage. For example, one of the bar regulars who is in nearly everynight does this for most of the girls, just balls up a couple dollars and tosses them on the side of the stage. That's ok. Not ideal, but I'm alright with that.

But I do not want you to throw them at me! I promise, you will not win a free prize. In fact, for any guys that currently do this, let me tell you what will not happen if you hit a dancer with a balled-up dollar.
: The bartender will not high-five you and give you a free Absolute and Cran.
: The bouncer will not give you half off your VIP hour.

And for the guys who like to aim their dollar ball at my thong:
I will not give you a free dance, even if you hit my clit. [Is that what you're aiming for? Trust me, hitting it with a dirty rolled up dollar bill will not turn me on.]

    Hypothetical question -

What if it is balled up $100 bills? Does that change things any?

    It's stupid. Plain and simple.

Is it really that friggin' difficult to just hand her your tip, or put it in her string?

    Find some fucking class.

-shrug- if I'm close enough for them to just put it in front of me-- yes, lame.

but if I'm at the pole and they chuck it, very likely it's not going to hit me.
I'd rather be dancing instead of stopping every few seconds to kneel and collect a tip.

it's a pain, though. I'd rather they just put the money on the stage.

although-- we do have a second story vip section that overlooks the stage, and there you definitely have to ball up the money in order to make it to the stage instead of floating to the floor.

It wouldn't be that hard for a customer to get off their ass and set it on the stage. I would bitch someone the fuck out over that. And on the question that asked if it'd be different if they were $100 bills, if I'm worth the $100, then you can walk your ass up to my stage. I won't throw it back, but I would make the customer feel 2 inches tall for throwing it at me.

The idea is to get it from the customer's pocket to the dancer's pocket. It takes extra time to crumple it up, and it takes extra time to unfold. Seems like an inefficient way to do things. Not to mention classless.

Would it be safe to say that customers who wad their bills up and throw them at the dancers aren't exactly doing it to win anyone's good graces? I mean, we've all seen them folks. I think they're quite well aware that they're behaving like assholes.

I mean, not that I don't appreciate the thread for discussion purposes, but judging by the male responses so far, its sorta preaching to the choir.

Exactly what I was gonna say! I have never played "cooter ball", but I will just leave them there. Sometimes I wonder if maybe, just maybe, one might have been a hundred. But then usually guys who tip large want you to know who they are, ammiright?
