Default weigh the same but jeans don't fit

I am having a weird problem. I weigh 108 lbs which is what my weight has been for the last 5 years. Problem is my jeans just don't go up my hips anymore. I have small saddlebags now which I need to go to the gym and work on but my weight is the same. Maybe it just shifted? Any ideas?

Have you lost muscle or become less toned? Changed exercise regimes? Muscle weighs more than fat so this could be the case.

Yeah, I don't exercise as much as I use to and have lost some tone. Would that explain it?

I think this could have kind of made you a bit 'softer' and some of the muscle you had when you were exercising may be gone.
If you are still at the same weight though, I doubt it would take you very long to get a bit more toned.

^if you exercise less, then you hav elost muscle tone.

1lb of muscle is much smaller than 1 lb of fat, so while you may weigh the same, you have gotten bigger.

I've got that same problem now since I've been trying to target my butt and thighs more in my workouts. Maybe your weight is shifting a bit? Do any of the women in your family tend to hold weight around their hips & thighs? My mom & all of her sisters hold weight there so I'm especially paranoid about fat in that area. I'm betting that extra curviness looks nice on you though

^Oh, thanks , most of the women carry their weight in their tummys in my family. But I carry it in my thighs first, then hips and ass. I went to the gym today. I going to get back to where I was. I can't wear any of my size 0 or 1 jeans right now which is all I have. I am cutting back this week and watching what I eat as well.

^ That's the same as me as to carrying weight. My mum is small has naturally the tiniest legs ever but if she puts on weight she puts it on in her tummy too. For me, it goes straight to my thighs first
    Good luck with it hun
