    Default Syracuse club recommendation?

I'm sick of working at this small club in Ithaca. The management can be difficult to work with (they have a lot of stupid policies), the girls are drama and the income potential is not great. Weekdays are pointless to work -- in terms of money. The weekends are better, but I average only $300 to $400 on Friday or Saturday nights. Is anybody happier dancing in Syracuse? If so, where? I'd like to work at a large club with good management and good earning potential.

Didn't you just ask about working in NJ and get a job at club 35, or am I confusing you with another poster?

^^ Yes I did, because (as I mentioned in that thread), my family lives in NJ and I come home to visit once a month. I worked at XXXV Club for three nights this weekend, and will definitely do so again soon. It was a really good experience.

But I reside in upstate NY, and thus am interested in finding a good place to work in the Syracuse area.

The drama at the NY club I've been working at for the past month is ridiculous. One of my regulars told me that this other dancer, who keeps making up bullshit complaints to the management about me, said I'm "quitting." WTF?! I'm sick of it. And I can't do much about it because management loves her.

I worked at Lookers when I was there and banked. But sadly that was @7 years ago and I have no idea if the club even still exists.

Why did I respond having nothing constructive to offer? IDK...bored?

I can't offer much.. but I worked at Alpine in Syracuse. But didn't make much more than you are now. And it's a small club.
A lot of the girls were leaving Alpine to work at Paradise Found.. nude club so dances were 20/song rather than 10/song at Alpine.
    Good luck!

Syracuse was my home city for years. Unfortunatly it has gone way downhill, there is not much for money clubs in Syracuse,Rochester,Utica and Only 2 good clubs in Buffalo (and even then it is slow season, plus shitty economy), as far as drama goes that is just par for the course.

My friend worked there too about a year ago. I think it's still there. She said she quit because it was in an unsafe neighborhbood, but that probably wouldn't deter me.

Bummer. That's what I generally hear too, but I was hoping to maybe find something better than where I'm at. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to come to Jersey more often!

I like the decor in Paradise Found but I spoke to a girl who worked there when I went to visit it once and she told me the management fines you out the ass for minor infractions.

Yeah it wasnt the best of neighborhoods, but I never had an issue there. Of course, like I said it was years ago, so it may be worse now.

And when I was there..I was only there visiting and working for a month and I made a large chunk of my money off the owner, who fell in lust with me and would buy out half my night almost every night

Durr, I'm sorry for my mistake. Thanks for clarifying honey. I might hit up Club 35 (just to run into you )

Ew, I hate drama. That's why I'm really picky about where I work. I wish I had more advice for you instead I'll give you an internet hug.

OK. There are new clubs here, some old clubs are gone, and some have turned over (new mgt). Let me put together something in the next few hours. Why not just come here and try a few out? Kuma's is nothing.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

I just remembered a relevant thread I contributed to last year. http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...light=syracuse

From Melonie's and my discussions, you can get a lot of info fairly recent. But I don't know anyone working at these clubs right now, so am not right up to date.

Since that thread, there is a new club, called The Golden Angel on Wolf St; the owner Joe used to own/manage Night Lights. Some dancers think he is fair but strict. I don't yet know how his new club is doing. You are welcome to pm me about more details.

That's the second place in town where I never had fun. They are both closed now.

Well im talking about 1992-94 during the first set of owners, that club was fun as hell back then, great girls, great managment. It went the way of the doodoo about 97 and never recovered.

I featured at Lookers and Night Lights back in December. I liked Lookers because it was pretty chill and dances were pretty easy to sell. It's a small club with no alcohol but that didn't really seem to make much of a difference in my income. The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but I wasn't scared for my life or anything like that.

Actually I just returned from Syracuse visit and I went to Paradise found while there. The girls were saying some pretty common things like the money is not what it used to be (but what area is). I guess the biggest complaint I heard was that it is very inconsistant. I was in there on a Sunday night and when I say it was dead I mean there were approx. 8-12 girls and less than that customers. The girls were up on the stage practicing pole moves. I did however enjoy my time there which simply takes having a girl on who find attractive, and has a good personallity and has time to give me lots of dances.
I will say that I LOVE the private suites and I think the prices for these is very good in comparison to most places having a choice between single dances or vip rooms that are hundreds with champagne etc. 15 mins for 130 or 30 mins for210 I think it was but you have a small room with nice L shaped leather couch, separate private playlist and stero with a tv screen to pick what ever songs you want. Also each has a small air conditioner unit and "fake" elec fireplace. Also you can see out of this one way glass what is going on on the stage as well and being in there alone with the dancer with the door closed and your own music etc. really makes the dances special.
So it seems to me that the place is doing the right things to attract customers and the girls told me it does get very crowded on some nights, but certainly not that night. Maybe the no achohol thing hurts it but in my opinion I think its better because if you are a guy and are in there, you are there to see the girls and not to have some drinks with your buddy while enjoying a free backdrop.....Anyway,,, I had 3 different girls that were on that night that provided me with lots of fun and I will certainly go there again next time in Syracuse. "sorry for the length"
    but my 2 cents as a customer/

"No alcohol" is the standard over the entire state for nude clubs. It doesn't hurt here, anymore. The custies just take nips back out in their cars.

Often it is the weather or whether the Syracuse basketball team has a game that night (they did last night, weather was ok) or some unknown factor. But that certainly doesn't explain the condition for any single club; they are all hit or miss.

Joe used to own Lookers with Crackhead Bob...Joe was the one who I made most of my money off of!

Figures.... Something happened so that he lost the clubs(?). I heard he tried to keep management by selling the property, but sounds like that didn't work out. Also I've heard that he tried to take 'ownership' of certain dancers. This confirms rumors I've heard.

I heard that too. A lot of the girls didnt seem to like him, or were scared of him, when I was there. But he was fine with me...didnt try for extras or anything.Crackhead Bob though I had "attitude" but STFU when I reminded him how much my "attitude" made him in the short time I was there

The girls were scared because of his excessive fines, sometimes capriciously or when he didn't get to 'own' them. Bob, I've never met (or even seen or want to) but heard he is a real perv as well as druggie. Those things I wouldn't want to confirm anyway.

But I wonder how the Queen Angel will fare with its Carribean decor and cuisine, which the owner likes. To me it's too much his own likes and maybe not enough of the customers' likes. Maybe there's a reason that food isn't popular here, etc., but there certainly is enough Italian food locally, no need for more of that.
