Default Other great baths besides Lush

Let's face it, we're all traitors in our lives, as much as we like to act like we aren't when we post on SW.

Here is a bath I like:

    Alba passion fruit bath salt

    +

    Alba honey mango shower gel

It smells just like Hawaiian Punch!

.......anddddd....even better, is now I can follow it up with Papyrazzi body wash & lotion by BedHead, thanks to my wonderful secret cupid Mia M, who didn't even know I'd been bathing in stuff that smells exactly like it!

Anyone else's recipes, or is it crazy to act like there's anything 'sides Lush?

not baths but shower products.. ive been ordering from a lot of companies i found on the lush forum.

i just got 2 DELICIOUS smelling sugar scrubs from a company called because i'm the princess.. and i have a scrub and bath cream on the way from another company.

i love my lush.. but only my staples. there are only a few things i feel like i'll use from lush from now on.. big blue, think pink, and blackberry bombs being the main ones.

Epsom salts + olive, jojoba, coconut, or sweet almond oil + a few drops of essential oils for extra scent is pretty standard for me. I also use all kinds of shower gels as bubble bath.

I've been dying to get some old-school Avon Skin So Soft and use that as a bath oil... I think there's actually an Avon truck in Philly, like a food cart but with Avon stuff. I keep meaning to make a trip out there and get some.

Oh yummm that sounds so good.

Avon...lol I have a bad image of Avon in my head from walking around too many flea markets where they are selling some CRUSTY ass DUSTY bottles for 2 bucks, and what is supposed to be thin liquid comes out like butter n shit.

it's like a limited, Colorado version of Lush. I like to mix and match fizzy balls, bath salts, and oils in Earth Spirit, Desert Lavender, Thor, and Maharani. I found a ebay vendor that sells made to order, 5 oz massage bars in 100+ scents for $6... I'll post a report when I get those.

I love the Lush products austinnatalie sent me for vday, and the next time I'm in Boulder, I'll check out their store- but god knows when that'll be! In the meantime, I'm checking out ebay and etsy sellers for some alternatives that are a little easier on my wallet.

Vaseline had this stuff you put in the bath and it makes the water so silky and smooth. I got a big box at wal-mart for like 2 bucks! Its great.

When I was little, we used to take Aveeno oatmeal baths when we were sick.....there was DEF something to that, I should try those out sometime!

I have been really wanting to try FantasyBath.com, but the shipping prices to Canada are rather high. I also use epsom salts, mineral salts, bath oils, Aveeno oatmeal bath, and other things in addition to my Lush.

Their bombs look fantastic! Really intensely colored which is the main reason I want to try them. When I have some extra spending money and have used up some more of my Lush stash lol, I am going to order and have a friend in Detroit bring my order up. Also, their bombs are a combo bomb/melt/bubble and they've gotten a lot of love on the Lush forum.

Hmm...those bombs do look kinda nice - I'd better go hide my credit card. LatinaRose is definitely the crack dealer of bath products.
