    Default New Dancer Questions??

I just started dancing at my first club, and I love it. I have a lot of fun with it but I just started to realize that most of the other girls at the club are doing a lot more in the praviate dance area than just dance. It did come to me as kind of odd that the other girls where leaving with a lot more money than I was but the idea of that never really crossed my mind. Unitl I saw it first hand. The real problem is that there extras are cutting into my bussiness. I go up for a private dance with a guy and we both are looking across the room at someone else have sex not even 5 feet away. It makes things odd, I'm not willing to have sex or touch any guy for anything.

What should I do? Are all clubs like this?
    I'm pretty much lost.

No! Not all clubs are like this!!
There are many clubs right now that are known for the extras, but it's not absolutely everywhere.
What city are you dancing in?

If I were I would find another club to work at. I heard of it happening where I am at, but not on the scale your talking about. If it is cutting into your business, find a new club, its not like your locked into working there or anything.

Please look for another club. If someone is offering FS (full sex) as an extra in a room in front of others... then that's about as bad as it could be. I've heard of worse...but seriously. You're brand new, and what you really need to be doing is learning to hustle and dance without the mental strain of coming face to face with this on a nightly basis. Not all clubs let girls get away with fucking.

I'm sorry to say that this is where the business is heading... but please don't let the normalcy of extras in your club jade you or make you adjust your personal boundaries for any reason, for any amount, etc. Stick to your guns, and please try to find another club before you get too comfortable there.

Hi Sasha You are in the wrong club for sure. It sounds like you are a good hustler if you are able to get customers to do private dances , so thats good. You should find another club to dance in though because it is quite possible the club you are in may be raided for illegal activity and you do not want to be caught up in that. You sound like you are on the right track but in the wrong club, start searching now.

OK - some thoughts from the other side of the fence.

Not every guy who comes into a club will be interested in extras - I for one have zero interest.

However, the presence of higher contact girls in a club makes it dificult for the lower contact girls to earn a living. You won't interest a guy in a low contact dance if he knows he can get more contact from another dancer for the same price.

You sound like you already know your own limits - which is good. Over the years I have known a number of dancers who said "I wish I hadn't done that" the next day. Ultimately, you're the one that has to be comfortable with how you earn a living - and going outside your comfort zone is going to leave you with a bad taste in the mouth.

The degree of contact will vary from club to club and from area to area. As has been suggested by the dancers, you will probably be more comfortable in a lower contact (or better run) club.

You should be able to find out from the other dancers what the general level of contact is like in your area (and even what it's like in specific clubs). From there its a case of trying to get hired at a club more to your taste.

If you do find a lower contact club, the playing field will be more level and you should find it easier to sell dances.

    ^^^

The concern isn't just monetary though, Phil - you can get caught up in a raid. She seriously needs to do some club-shopping.

I love my club! It's in the middle of Wisconsin and sure I don't make a grand a night but I sure as hell do not have to put up with stuff like this. If a bouncer sees a boob too close to a guy's face, he'll walk into the booth tap the dancer on the shoulder and give the no-no head shake. I can't even imagine the looks on their faces if they saw a girl banging some guy in lapdance!
