Default Bike Week in Daytona Beach

I just decided to go down there last minute, I have a few friends that called and said 2 of em made $6000 last week and another made $10,000. They've been down there for Nascar but they expect bike week to be better. Let me also add that these girls are seasoned vets who hustle like crazy. So have any of you ladies ever been down there during bike week? What should I expect? I've never even been to Florida so I'm super excited! Its only 10 degrees outside where I'm at!

Bike Week is SCARY. Be safe. I worked at Lollipops in Daytona during college, and refused to work during bike week.

Lollipops is an awesome club, the only thing is that it gets sooo busy for bike week you may end up losing money because it takes so long to push past people and into the private room. It's a lot of fun though. I would work at molly browns. or maybe the pink pony, wich was a former whorehouse. I heard from a reputable source that it is totally cleaned up now though. Stay away from the shark's lounge it's just nasty.

Lollipops requires the most advanced hustling skills available, especially during Bike Week, which is a totally different ballgame than Race Week. Some few dancers can pull off Bike Week there, but most get frustrated, as of recent years. I brought my SO down there a few years ago from Michigan, she was a very beautiful woman who worked the Flight Club in Detroit, and a consistently banking dancer. She indeed banked Race week, but broke even or maybe lost money after travel expenses Bike Week.

Pink Pony has cleaned up some, but when I was there during the middle of Race Week just a week ago (like wed night) it was SLOW AS HELL. I couldn't fucking believe how bad it was. Admittedly wed isn't as big as the last weekend of Race Week, but the other clubs were much, much, much busier.

It takes a strong heart and gonads of steel to handle The Shark, but I fucking love that club. Quentin Tarentino himself couldn't top that place, except maybe when all the customers turn into vampires.

Yeah djoser, don't get me wrong the shark is cool if your a customer, I spent my 21st birthday there and had a lot of fun. I have never worked there, but iv'e known a lot of girls who have, and they have the NASTIEST stories about that place. I just wouldn't recomend an out of town girl to go dance there.
Speaking of from dust till dawn, ever been to softtails in deland. They should get a mariachi band. They have cheech outside like "come on in pussy lovers!!!"

OMG, I almost worked there! I backed out when I found out they made the DJs clean up at the end of the night. No fucking way am I going to do that! Not after busting my ass all night on the mike, and playing music. I mean don't quote me "Hey this guy Djoser said you wanted to hire him", they might not even remember, but I did talk to one of the owners about 3 years ago, and she seemed very nice, and the possibility of working there was brought up in a friendly if non-committal way. Whatever...

Molly Browns also made the DJs clean up at the end as well, which I wasn't crazy about but went along with, I needed a job badly at the time--Daytona has a way of keeping people desperate. One of the primary ways the town sucks monkey balls. I was much more displeased with the fact I had to work as a barback for FREE (other than the bartender tipping me), for I think 3-4 nights. When I asked why I wasn't being paid, hinting it might be illegal, I was informed by the drug-addled, jaw-twitching manager that "We all had to go through it, it's part of working here..."

I'm not blaming the owner, and I still think it might be the best bet for a dancer Bike Week, but I have nothing but contempt for the piece of shit manager. Fortunately he was fired I think a few months after I gave notice to him and he fired me, the place has improved radically since then. They brought back a guy named Terry as manager and I think the other manager is named Bill--they are both great guys, too bad weren't there when I was.

Don't get me wrong, Lollipops can be a great place for dancers to make money and the owner Shawn is a fucking great guy, I would just be concerned about the huge number of girls they hire during events. It's a factory club, you gotta really fucking hustle there Bike Week, or you are gonna be disappointed. But certainly in terms of size, sheer amount of money flowing through, and probably music as well, it is the most impressive place in town.

They do cut the songs at about 2 minutes so if you hustle and get some repeat custies you can bank--I have known some that didn't though. A girl that relies on conversation to make $$ is going to be better off elsewhere.

There's also that little hole in the wall Bigguns in Daytona Beach Shores, I worked there 1 1/2 years until about 6 years ago or so, and I did finally make surprisingly good money considering how bad it sucked when I started there, including a really good Race Week. After I left it sucked again, lol--but my SO banked that one Race Week a couple years later, wound up making I think 3-4 grand. I got fired from there, largely due to beating on the little mike hidden in the wall of the DJ booth after pointing it out to dancers, friends who stopped by, etc. Proud of it, too.

Then there's Club Topic. I have always liked Will a lot, he is a terrific person, with a lot of respect for the dancers it seems, probably one of the coolest people I have ever worked for in and out of the business. I didn't last long there because at the time they were paying the DJ 1$ a private dance and it was slow.

Well there are 2-3 other clubs in that area but I am too tired now to go on, except to wish anyone luck who is going there.

Did I mention Daytona sucks monkey balls, lol...

OMFG! The US Supreme Court?? There's no appealing that...

    This is really, really bad.

I hadn't followed it that closely, not enough it had gone to the highest legal authority in the land. I also knew Lollipops had a lot of money, but wow, that had to have cost a LOT of fucking money!!

I hate to raise an old issue, but this kind of proves the point that the Morality Police really are a negative element in the USA, especially where those of us in the business are concerned.

    Fuck...

I know they have not been enforcing the bkini law,but they might for bikeweek. probably not though. If anyone ends up in daytona and that is the case, you could go to softtails in deland (20 min. from the beach) and still dance topless, because they serve alchohol on one side of the club, and dance on the other. I made $2800 in four days during bikeweek there but that was 4 yrs. ago. talk to the dj /manager Dirty and tell him dazie sent you

Hey, Dirty is back there? He worked in one club with me for a very short time. Before that I came into Softtails and hung out a while during the day, when he was working. That was when they could still dance nude, I think. In fact I might have met you, you do look familiar--did you work there about 3 years ago? I never got dances but I bought several of the women drinks and sent them to tip each other a lot.

Any reports on how bike week went from the ladies? Interesting to see if the clubs were complying with the new laws now that the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case...?

Ooh, the Shark Lounge. Both my ex and her sister worked there when they lived in Daytona, so I've heard a few stories about the place. Enough to make me thankful for my fav local club. Neither of them disliked the experience working there, but their standards probably aren't as high as a lot of folks who post on SW.

Though they do have one of the better websites I've seen for FL clubs. Lots of photo galleries.

    LOL!

Wow, I bet I know most of the people that got arrested, but it's hard to tell for sure because I always tell any dancers I meet I don't want to know their real name, whether I work in that club or not--saves confusion for when I do wind up working with them.

I know both managers for sure, since they don't use stage names, lol.

    This really sucks...

Big score for the Family Values Morality police.

Vote for candidates that support civil liberties, people! It's time to quit hiding from the truth. The hard core Christian Coalition types just made a big dent in our right to make money the way we see fit, and I predict further draconian, atavistic law enforcement activity against stripclubs all over the country.

I've been trying to say this will be a problem for years now, only to get told I'm imagining things, wearing a tin foil hat, etc.

The US Supreme Court just fucked dancers and industry people up the ass...
