    Default Wht is wrong with me?

    Im always tired and sleepy even though I sleep about 12 to 14 hours a day .Its getting annoying because I have things to do but no energy to do it , as soon as I try I get a bad headache and get dizzy and just tired .I've been like this for years but didn't have a problem with it before...... well sorta but I have a daughter to attend to now and other things to do so it gets in the way .I'll start thinking to myself and think that im being lazy but thats just not the case I get a headache aand dizzy like I stated earlier its just so frustrating!

    maybe its your diet? Anemia? Do you exercise?

    It sounds like your blood pressure is low. Do you get dizzy when you go from sitting to standing? I would drink as much water and fluids as I could possibly stand. You should get your blood pressure checked to make sure that's what it is.

    sleeping 12-14 hours is making you tired, is my guess. getting too much sleep isn't good for you. you would feel better once you got in the habit of sleeping 8 hours instead.

    plus, other habits could influence it.. exercising and eating well, in addition to getting 8 hours of sleep, should make a difference.

    I eat well and exercise I also only sleep about 8 hours .I just fall asleep throughout the day because I get extremely sleepy and even after that im sleepy.I really dont think im anemic or have low blood pressure ive been checked before and im good, overall my physical health is good .Ive been like this though since I was a teenager .

    I have low blood pressure and have all the symptoms you do. It took a long time to figure it out too. I had been going to doctors for years, complaining that I am always fatigued and get dizzy a lot and sometimes blackout when standing up for a few seconds and finally, this past summer I saw a new doctor who took my blood pressure when I got to his office, when I was laying down and then as soon as I stood up and figured out the problem. There isn't really a solution though. Adding more salt to your diet could help. Sometimes when I feel real bad, I drink a coke and it actually helps.
