    Default Back Tattoos and Floorwork

EDIT- Sorry I don't know how the hell I put this is picture post without realizing. I meant to put it
    BB!!!

Girls that have tattoos on your back area, or bum, anywhere thats going to be rubbing all over the not always so squeaky clean stage, how long did you give your tat to heal before working? Or did you just avoid floorwork for a little bit?

untill its healed you should not rub a fresh tattoo on any dirty surface without washing it afterwards with antibacterial soap.

oi swear by h2ocean at work for my fresh tattoos. i wont even go in untill it has a decent scab on it.

ha- i'll get back to you about this on saturday. i plan on polework and stuff on my knees.

you get used to avoiding a certain spot pretty quickly, and you adjust your show accordingly. when that huge scab on my knee got infected and i had to stay off my knee/wear thick stockings, i quickly found out how to dance without putting that 1 knee down. i'd imagine it'll be the same for my back. i can't afford waiting for it to scab over... using tattoo goo right now and will switch to h2ocean or something tomorrow.

I'd wait a couple of days. But, a girl I work with came to work right after getting her outline done on her back piece.

i personally hate tattoo goo. h2ocean works great becuase it never gets too slimey or greasy, which with floor work, you can imagine what would get stuck all over it!

When I got my back tattoo done I was on stage a half hour later, and doing a floor show. I was just careful about how I moved. You should be using a blanket for floor work anyway(seriously think of the shit on a stage floor... customers come in off the streets and walk on the floor, you walk with your shoes on that floor then go on stage.. do you really want to be rolling around in that?). Anyway just be careful and keep it clean.
