    Default Mufe Girls! :)

I started using MUFE's face/body foundation and I seriously <3 it. I am a perfect shade 20 ivory when i don't tan. But...summer is coming, and I'm going to start tanning. I need to find a darker shade to mix with it so that it blends even when I'm tan. Problem is, I don't live near a sephora. I have to order online.

So, those of you familiar with the line, should I order the next one listed on sephoras site, the porcelain 2? Or go with something that *looks* lighter on the site, like natural beige 3. Anyone know how their color line works? I'm not sure which is the closest to the shade I have, with the same undertones.

Wow I wish I could help you with this! I just started using MUFE's matte velvet foundation recently and I have to mix two colors to get a close match to my skin also. Love their foundation and concealer..Good luck!

How's the matte velvet foundation? I'm debating trying that, because they have a shade closer to mine that the face and body doesn't have, but I'm afraid it will be too heavy.

It is very heavy. Perfect for photo shoots or work but thats about the only place I would wear it. Other than that its really great. I use No. 25

^^That's the color that's just darker than mine...any idea what color you use in the face and body? Gah, I hate not having a counter near me.

Yeah the Matte Velvet is heavy. I like it because it covers well but like Bella said I only use it for pics, work or if I'm going out.

Hmmm, the matte velvet probably isn't for me then. I have really dry skin, and don't need that much coverage.

After much internet research, I ordered the #20 and the #32. #32 looks lighter on sephora's website, but apparently it's a shade darker. Wish me luck.

    Good luck!

What form of their foundation are you using?I need something for daytime that's not as heavy as the matte velvet.

I use the face and body makeup. I <3 the consistency of it, it's kind of like a gel, but it looks so great on and blends in really easily. (most people compliment me on how great i look without makeup, ha!) I think it covers fairly well, and it's really light.

Ooops I missed this one. It is so hard to shop for these things online. I was going to suggest calling the MUFE store in NYC and asking one of their artists for advice.

I love F&B too, it really does give a nice perfect skin look, not too matte, not overly dewy. Just perfect!

LatinaRose, does face and body cover well for those with acne or acne scarring? My areas that I have it are my face and back. I don't mind it except for when it comes to work or taking pics. What do you suggest?

Thanks LR. I searched all over Makeup alley finally, and found a list of the shades in order. Is the MUFE store helpful? I have this paranoia of rude people, especially since I'm not actually buying anything from them directly.

I really want to try MUFE foundations next. I've been using MAC Studiofix Fluid for a while now. I like it, but I'd like to experiment with some different foundations.

    UPDATE:

Got my colors, and they're perfect! Yay! Mily, you should totally try the MUFE foundation, i <3 them way more than the MAC studio stick I bought (which blows ass).

Glad it worked out! I was in Sephora yesterday, and I though about this thread and if you had gotten any yet

I'm going to chime in. I've been using the mat velvet formula (number 25). I really love it.

And I was a bare escentuals user for years, moved to MAC (NC25) to get more coverage for work, but it seemed slimy and unnatural.

    I just love MUFE.
