Default Pinellas County got rid of vice - rules changed

Hey ladies, I haven't been able to post in so long, I've been incredibly busy in school. Anyway I have a question, mainly for the ladies who work in Pinellas County, Florida but I like opinions on what I should do. I work for a club where you wear pasties, and Brazilians/booty shorts. I showed up on work Saturday and was told that we were not allowed to wear thongs/g strings. I asked one of our owners if the laws had been changed and he told me the laws are still the same but the sheriffs office got rid of their vice squad so there is no one monitoring strip clubs anyway. The owner did say wearing a thong is our discretion and we will not get in trouble if we choose to wear booty shorts. I decided Saturday mid way through the shift to lose the booty shorts and my money sky rocketed since I was the only girl wearing a thong.

My concern is I'm not really big on getting arrested and going to jail but if no one is monitoring strip clubs anymore, do I really have to worry?

Someone is always monitoring stripclub's, just because they supposedly got rid of vice squad doesn't mean the playground isn't being watched. I think assuming this news will make breaking city or county codes a safe choice will inevitably get you in trouble. Once you become confident that you won't get in trouble for breaking the law, you let your guard down and almost always get caught. Please be careful, I would hate to see you get in trouble.

So people sell drugs on the street and shoot innocent bystanders, yet there's cops who check if dancers are wearing booty shorts or not? Hooray for taxpayer money well spent!

No really, in my area, dancers have to wear pasties over their nipples due to a local law. If a dancer doesn't have pasties, then the club fines them $20 per nipple. Some dancers do go pastie-less because they can easily make that $40 back in dances, but I've never seen a cop who came in to check for pasties. If so, I want that job! I'd like to stare at boobs all day long. No, just kidding in the job thing...
