Default I think I pinched a nerve in my back

I FINALLY figured out a new pole trick at least a week ago and my back has been hurting ever since. Same spot, right side, right below my ribs, incidentally same spot where my back goes all wonky anyway from scoliosis.

At first I kept working but haven't worked the last few days and I'm attempting to not work until it's gone. It doesn't seem to be going, though...

Any sudden movement hurts. Rolling over in bed hurts. Getting up, sitting down, bending over hurts. The last time I worked I tried taking some leftover Vicodin from the last time I hurt myself and it didn't really do anything.

Should I go to the doc? I don't think they'd do anything but tell me to rest and give me more Vicodin...

Im in the same boat. This one damn pole trick pulls the muscle right under my shoulder blade. Every. Single. Time. No matter how long I stretch or whatever.

I just let it rest for a few days and massage it as often as possible. Stretch and hot showers. Time is the cure IMO. Usually about 2 weeks for me. Then its back to normal again until I think I can do the trick without hurting myself. Sooner or later it'll stop pulling it right!?

The doc really cant do anything except give you meds. I wouldnt waste your time unless youre in serious pain.

I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with your back, but I f-d up mine pretty bad for over a week once. I know you can take tylenol and advil together to ease the pain. (Vicodin made me puke.)

What ended up helping in the end was a product called solar tens (sp?) I don't know much about it but at that point I was about willing to try anything and it worked. Feel better!
