ok, more technical help needed for mac

I just got the copy of a disc back for a photo shoot and I wana post some of the pics on the picture board for you all to see. I imported the pics from the disc onto iPhoto, (I don't have the disk anymore, someone else is copying it now,) but now I can't get them onto SW . I can never usually upload straight from iPhoto but I usually just move the image onto Desktop and then upload it from there. For some reason they won't go onto Desktop, I can't get them to budge out of iPhoto. Am I doing something wrong?

No error message? Just won't budge?

Have you tried exporting them? File -> Export... -> File export, then choose a format and save them.

I'll see if I can think of anything else.

I've never imported from a CD before. Is it possible that the ones you're dragging out are the ones on the disk and they weren't copied to your Library? That's in iPhoto's preferences.

Hmm, just says I need to resize pics. Not sure how to do that so you might have to wait a bit.

Here's instructions on how to resize a graphic. Skip the part about Irfanview; it is for PCs. Download GraphicConverter and follow the instructions in the thread. Be sure you choose "Resize" from the picture menu. If you just resize it on screen, all you do is change what you see, and the original image remains the same size.

If you have any questions after downloading it and trying it, let me know. I am fairly expert at Mac graphics.
