like what's your routine the week of and the day of?
WEEK OFF:
- tanning, either beds or spray/cream
- moisturize and exfoliate more often for brighter, even toned skin
- drink plenty of water for clearer skin
- mani and pedi
- eyebrows, lip and bikini waxed 2 days before
- hair washed and straightened night before
- white strips for teeth
DAY OFF:
- touch up hair with iron
- moisturize and bronzer all over
- make sure nails are unchipped
- touch up eyebrows, stray hairs
- take a diuretic to fight bloating
- no eating until after your shoot
that's what i do...

One week prior I start to put a lemon in my water(helps with water weight) Day of-workout out. And not eating til after pics!!

Yeah, thanks, what else ladies? I'll be doing one next month..

-Eartha Kitt

- Get lots of sleep the night before.
- Have all of your outfits, makeup, and accessories packed and ready to go at least the night prior so all you have to do is grab everything and go.
- Call the photographer and your escort to reconfirm the shoot the day before.
- mani and pedi
- make sure hair is nice and glossy (use a deep conditioner cream rinse the day of or before)
I know there's more, but that's all I can think of for now. I'm sure other girls will add more, I'm pretty basic.
I've never done a shot, but I have a friend that models for Average Joes Supplements. She does shoots all the time, she was also Miss. something or other this year. Here a few things she also mentioned:
Don't work out within 24 hours of a shoot. Your body's cells expand with working out and can take up to 24 hours to return to "normal"...I don't know how accurate that is, but she swears by it. I've also been told not to drink water the day of. That dehydrated skin looks better on camera. Sounds crazy, but I've heard this from several models that are in the fitness model industry.
I do all the usual...exfoliate, lotion, a gradual tan fake tan put on the day before ( fake tanner can look orage on camera. but 1 coat of the light gradual tan stuff is ok to give your skin just a touch of color)
But I eat the day of the shoot! I eat a good, healthy breakfast and I take snacks with me to munch on during the shoot. Modeling is hard, and I want to have energy to be able to keep shooting. I'm usually booked for shoots lasting between 4-8 hours, and if I run out of energy, the images will reflect that. So I always make sure to eat. Eggs and oatmeal is a great preshoot breakfast, and I take snacks like apples to munch on. Those things won't bloat you.
No soda! not the day before or the day of the shoot.
Don't go out and party all night the night before a shoot. baggy eyes and low energy is not sexy on camera.
oh..don't shave the day of, shave the night before. Justin case you getrazor burn then you have time to let it go down so your not red and bumpy.
KAYLINN!! You're back!! I missed you.
Anyway...day of the shoot I eat something small(I dont eat much usually..so just a half an english muffin with peanut butter or something similar)
I shave the day of..but use stick deoderant to keep red bumps away.
LOTION!! Dry skin looks like shit on camera
I drink lots of water for several days before if I can(I dont always get that much notice). If you only do it the day of,you could look bloated, but a cpl days of it will wash the bloat away.
Try to get as much sleep as possible the night before so you dont have bags under your eyes.
I do 100 crunches right before the shoot to quickly tighten up my abs.
Dont wash your hair the day of the shoot...hair that is slightly dirty holds style better
Clean up any stray eyebrow hairs
