    Default Playing the Pity Card

    The race card hasn't worked.
The experience card was not effective.
The electability card is belied by the polls.

With the S.S. Hillary taking on water and starting to sink, Hillary played the Pity card at last night's debate. She actually complained that she always "gets the first question " and that the press is fawning over Obama asking "if he's comfortable and would like another pillow."

Obama was cool and collected throughout while Hillary looked more uncomfortable than ever and was at her rudest. She continually interrupted everybody, Williams, Russert and Obama and tried to dominate the discussion at every turn.

She would not be the only one who tries incessantly to get their points across. By the way, I saw SNL too.

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

I'm sorry. I don't get the Letterman reference. SNL yes. Dave no.

Shall we welcome President Obama? Everything else is just a formality now, it seems.

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

I heard a Rebulican political guru on NPR this morning, who summed up the electorate's reactions to the two Democratic candidates: "I feel bad for Hillary. She's on a job interview. Obama is on a date!"

^^^ where the mainstream media is concerned, that certainly seems to be the case.

However it remains to be seen whether the puff treatment Barack has been receiving from mainstream media will continue after the convention when he is declared the actual democratic candidate and must start discussing a wider range of issues - and may lose some of the 'free pass' that he and other democrats usually receive from mainstream media in regard to potentially unfavorable coverage.

According to the 'tin foil hat' crowd, there is an ample supply of 'Swift Boat' material surrounding Barack which has so far escaped mainstream press coverage that could potentially be pushed into the mainstream by the republican presidential candidate ...

    (snip)"Obama's Anti-Semitic Associations

Revisiting John Podhoretz's thought exercise, how would the MSM react if John McCain associated so closely with anti-Semites. We already know how indifferent they are when Obama schmoozes with such scum.

The board of a nonprofit organization on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a "catastrophe" and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and education to illegal aliens.

The co-founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group.

In 2001, the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based nonprofit that describes itself as a group helping the disadvantaged, provided a $40,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, or AAAN, for which Khalidi's wife, Mona, serves as president. The Fund provided a second grant to the AAAN for $35,000 in 2002.

Obama was a director of the Woods Fund board from 1999 to Dec. 11, 2002, according to the Fund's website. According to tax filings, Obama received compensation of $6,000 per year for his service in 1999 and 2001.

Obama served on the Wood's Fund board alongside William C. Ayers, a member of the Weathermen terrorist group which sought to overthrow of the U.S. government and took responsibility for bombing the U.S. Capitol in 1971.

Ayers, who still serves on the Woods Fund board, contributed $200 to Obama's senatorial campaign fund and has served on panels with Obama at numerous public speaking engagements. Ayers admitted to involvement in the bombings of U.S. governmental buildings in the 1970s. He is a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago."(snip)

(snip)"When is America going to wake up and demand the press stop lobbing softballs at Obama, and ask him some real, hard questions? When is Obama going to talk to a real reporter or correspondent, like Michelle Malkin? Allahpundit? Bill O'Reilly? Rush Limbaugh? It seems entirely unlikely that any of these stories will make the mainstream press, in any form. If they do, they'll be micro-stories that will be easily missed, even by the most dedicated search. Beter wait for the elections; I think McCain has chance at the win. And we'd better have a choice.

obama has hardly been getting 'puff' treatment from the MSM. if anything, they've been bending over backwards to indulge hillary's truly astounding ability to wrest defeat from the jaws of victory.

much more importantly, Obama has certainly been getting 'puff' treatment from the NY Times, the three 'free' TV networks, CNN etc.
