Default BA ladies question about bras

Do we need to wear supportive bras all the time? Will they sag like real breasts if you don't wear a support bra?

At the moment I can get away with wearing a crop top and they still sit up nicely as if im wearing a bra but i dont know if this is a good idea.

I wear my surgery bra at the gym tho for support.

Depends on what your doc says. I wasn't aloud to wear bras with under wire in them for months after. Besides nothing would fit them properly anyways. They are just like real boobs and will sag eventually but I don't think they will sag faster or slower than if you had been born with that size.

yeh i hate underwire too esp since i dont need it. but mine are a D so i want them to stay looking perky!

my surgeon said i can wear any sort of bra i want now (its been 13 weeks) but to wear the surgery bra to the gym for support.

i just wanted to check what others were doing. the crop tops are soooooooo comfy.

Mine start to hurt if I don't wear a good, supportive bra. But after wearing a bra for days...they hurt when I take it off....but it's more of "I'm freeeeeee!" hurt. ha.

When I was 16, one of my friends mom's said she kept her breasts perky through pregnancy (she had implants) by wearing a bra 24/7 from the time she found out until all the swelling went away. I figure if I wear one 24/7 and I'm not preggo, I'll be good to go!

So I take it they give you a surgery bra to wear for a while until you can get some other bras? I had wondered what I'd do if I have a BA and then all my bras don't fit.

Yes, your skin will still stretch over time so some saggage will happen. It seems to me that under the muscle implants my not sag as much or as fast, because they have a muscle supporting them rather than just skin and fascia. Either way it doesn't hurt to wear a bra and keep the girls supported when you can.

I rarely wear a bra and mine look and feel like natural breasts. My Dr. advised me not to wear a bra of any type for several months after my surgery(excpet very soft ones if needed) or my boobs would heal "up" and not drop to a natural position.
