Personally I guess I am wierd but I think the driver should be fired and her daughter should be suspended, and the "Sammy" girl should be in trouble at home and maybe pulled from the bus for a few days but that's it.

I think the driver is 100% at fault.

I tell ya what, that little spoiled insufferable shit shouldn't talk to adults like that. Shame on her parents for letting her get that way. A bus driver has certain obligations to NOT allow a child off the bus if it is not their stop or if a higher authority figure needs to be present first. All that "you owe me $400" and "I'll sue you" bull shit makes me laugh. If that were my daughter, she'd never see the light of day until she was 18.
And honestly? I've been that outspoken little shit when I was her age. The bus driver was never found in the fault. But then again, kids weren't as coddled 15 years ago.

ok apparently all the hitting and stuff goes on at about 7 minutes. i think those stupid bitches that were yelling the whole time are at fault. the bus driver was just doing her job! and protecting herseft by trying to restrain the girl!

I'm only a minute in and think that girl needs to wake the fuck up to reality. Who raises their kids like that?

    EDIT: Just finished.

I agree with Paige here, that little brat needs some more discipline in her life. There is absolutely NO NEED from what I saw to get that way with the bus driver. Just looks, sounds and acts like a spoiled child who thinks that they can get anything they want in life and mommy and daddy will bail them out.

The other girl who is up there with her for damn near the whole time needs an attitude adjustment as well. Good for the daughter for helping defend her mom.

Gilbert police have asked the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to charge Kim Sullivan with aggravated assault (intentional touching of a child 15 and younger) and disorderly conduct - fighting; Samantha Taylor with aggravated assault of a school employee and disorderly conduct - fighting; and Cassandra Schlosser, 14, and Erin Sullivan, both with disorderly conduct - fighting.

ok i can say from 1st hand experience that adults and parents have no rights today. i ended up in jail for 5th degree assault for slapping my son in the face when he was yelling and swearing and screaming at me. he is 15 and has adhd and anger issues. when i slapped him i told him to get out of the house, which he did. he went down the street to my OWN parents and they called the police. there was no marks on him. my wife even thought he deserved it for him being histerical.

but thanks to minnesota law, if the police are called for a domestic violence report someone is supposed to go to jail. $5000 later i now cannot disapline my son in anyway for fear of him calling the police.

Wow.. I watched the whole video. What little punks. I honestly don't know what kept the bus driver calm. She and her little friend would've gotten knocked the fuck out by me, that's for damn sure.

If a bus driver let my child off at a stop that is not her designated stop- I'd be pissed! So the bus driver was watching her own ass- she can't let a kid off at just any ol' bus stop. At the end the bus driver is pleading "Where is the help that I asked for?"
I don't think she should be fired at all- she tried her best to do her job. Yeah, she probably shouldn't have pushed the girl back towards her seat BUT the girl shouldn't have gotten out of her seat in the first place.
    So yeah, spoiled brats.

The bus driver told the girl to not speak so loud. The girl got mad and wanted to get off the bus. The woman pushed the child back. Drama ensues.

I think the bus driver is at fault. I saw this on CNN last night and the story is, the bus driver had the kids sitting in assigned seats and got upset because the kids were talking too loud. I don't know about any of you but I rode the bus to school and we were WAY more wild than the kids on this bus. Obviously the bus driver had a discipline issue before this event. When the girl wanted to get off the bus the bus driver should have said, "Hey, I can't let you off the bus until we get to school because I am responsible for you. Otherwise I'd be happy to let you go but I can't." At no point did she need to touch the student. What right did she have to grab the girl's cell phone out of her hand and not let her talk to her mother? Why didn't she explain the situation to the parent? Attitude or not the bus driver handled it poorly. I wouldn't want my kid riding her bus.

If that girl was my daughter, she'd have written letters of apology to everyone on that bus, and gone to the bus driver's house personally to apologize, and offer herself for the next 4 weekends for chores. The way she spoke to that driver was unconscionable. Teenagers in school should NEVER address an adult in that fashion. I'd be horribly embarrassed if that were my child.

When a student in school is on a school bus, they are under the supervision of the bus driver. The bus driver can set whatever rules they want, and demand any behavior of the students, as long as what is expected is not unreasonable. That girl should have done exactly what she was told to do.

If this ends up in any fashion other than that girl getting nothing less than school suspension, then the whole thing is disgusting...and if that driver is punished, then it's putrid.

The girl was loud and obnoxious, pretended not to belong on the bus and tried to get off in a spot that was deemed unsafe by the school board. When told to return to her seat she tried to force her way past the driver several times. She also tried to open the door herself to get off the bus. The driver did exactly what she is trained to do, call base ask for help and try to calm the disruptive student. The girl pushed the driver first, the driver then defended herself. The student deserves charges pressed against her for aggravated assault, the driver should not be punished for having to defend herself against what could very well have been 2 girls attacking her.

The driver cant set any rules they want, they have to abide by town and school board rules.

The district is standing by the driver, and the girl is being apologetic. Some school officials have recommended expulsion.

Typical that the girl's mom is still trying to blame the driver, though.

I'm confused. The bus driver didn't let her off the bus because that was not her designated stop, did she have a designated stop coming up later, or where was she going to take her?
