^^^The Canadian guy I dated recently said "Eh" at the end of almost every sentance. I found it quite off putting at first. It kept giving me the impression that someone had snuck up behind me and he was addressing them, lol!

Australians say 'hey' a lot at the end of theirs.

*WAAAAHHH*
I've been to Sydney twice. It was worth the 24 hours from airport to airport both times. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. No, less. My favourite club in Sydney was Home. People were awesome.... guys talked to me and looked me in the eye, and didn't expect anything but friendship from the short, busty American in a revealing top.
It was also very odd for me to feel so comfortable literally on the other side of the planet from my own place. My own bed in my own apartment is usually the only place I can actually sleep. Anywhere else makes me uncomfortable. In Sydney, I'd found my second "home." Almost didn't get on the plane to head back at the end of the second trip.. but my furballs were counting on me.

^ Yeah, I don't know that many people in Melbourne who put 'hey' on the end of things.
I don't know if this is an Australian thing but I hate when people finish with 'but' on the end of what they are saying. Like, 'that is so true but'.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

^Oh no Lys, I feel for you, I really do. Just don't start aksing youse guys for a durry, please?
I've recently caught myself saying eh/ay a.lot, and even buddy a few times. I'm afraid of what's to come.
