    Default I love my bed

I just realised how much time I spend in my bed. I sleep in it, I eat in it, I drink in it, I watch movies in it, I dry my hair and do my make up while sitting on it, I talk on the phone in it, I'm in it now and I'm pretty much spend all my free time here! I love my bed, its the first bed I've ever bought and its all girly with fairy lights on it and a really expensive gorgeous blanky on it which I really really love.

Does anyone else have this relationship with their bed or is it just me?

    I don't have a bed.

I had a nice tempurpedic but after my last split, I just gave it away.

Floor does me fine and it reminds me that I should count my blessings to be alive in the first place.

I read and sleep in my bed and that's about it. I don't want to get it dirty.

I love my bed but I prefer to save it for reading, sleeping, fucking, and lying around on Sunday mornings eating fruit and cheese with K. Everything else is done out of the bedroom.

I have the fucking comfiest bed ever though. Probably the reason I don't do anything else in it is because I pass out the second I lie down on it. Memory foam is a beautiful thing.

My bed is my world lol.

I try not to eat in it, because I am a klutz, but I watch TV, do makeup, read, spend hours just laying with my boyfriend...

My great-great grandfather hand made it, so it's a weird size (it's smaller than a queen, but larger than a full), with intricate carvings.

No major mattress manufacturer makes a mattress to fit it, so I had to custom order one through a period-bedding company. My mattress is made of a combination of foam, down, and corn husks lol.

It is the most outrageously soft bed...and I topped it with a full down comforter on top. My boyfriend makes fun of me all the time for it, and says I'm like the princess and the pea.

Whatever. I'll probably have back problems in a few years from having such a soft bed, but I love it.

OMG me too! I'm totally a bed potato whenever I can be. I did a photo shoot last week at this guys house in LA and we took some of the pics on the bed...I think he said it was a Smart something bed...he's sending me the pics when he's done with them so I"ll ask. It was the BEST BED EVER!! It was seriously like being on a cloud. I want one!!! It took all my strength to keep posing and not just get swallowed up and fall asleep!

I feel that way about my couch. Not my bed though, cause it's too big for me and I always sleep on one side when I sleep on it, it just feels really lonely. I usually just sleep on the couch now for the hell of it.

I adore my bed. I've got a vintage pink headboard. Its freaking shabby glamorous. I also piled two mattress covers on top of each other and I have 3 soft, different textured blankets on it. I do everything I possibly can in bed. Sleeping, computer, eating, fucking, homework, anything.

I love my bed. I bought this past summer 400+ thread count egyptian cotton sheets. 400+ thread count egyptian cotton overstuffed goose down comforter. 400+ tread count egyptian cotton duvet cover. I have mirrors on my canopy bed which is really cool for the obvious and also if I loose the tv remote. I just look up and I see the whole bed and thus the tv remote. I also have a black light in my room which makes my sheets glow.

Me too. I dont know why I have such a big apartment. I am ALWAYS in bed whenever I'm on my laptop, and I watch movies, eat, sleep, brush my hair, sleep and fuck in here. I heart my bedroom set. It's a bad assed platform bed, black, with a headbord with a leather square in the middlew. Sounds tacky...is HOT.

My bed is just a random IKEA frame, but yeah, I love it. It's not the most comfortable in the world, but I do have a fluffy comforter and I like to cuddle in it alone.

I am also a bed lover!!! I drive my hubby crazy because he is not very picky, and I HAVE to have high thread count sheets, and down comforters. I try to make my bed so comfy that I have problems wanting to get out of it. I try not to eat in bed if I can help it, because the blankets and things I tend to use must be dry cleaned.

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE bed!
My husband purchased our bed before i knew him and it was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive (i'm too embarrassed to even give a number)
A few months ago i went out and spent almost a grand on new linens and a down comforter, and made it even better
    I took a picture

I'm on my way back to bed right now!!

I didn't use to spend as much time in bed as I do now. When I retired I did sort of a slow down phase where I found myself finding all sorts of shows on SHO and HBO I never took note of before. TiVO became my friend. The lap top on the home network. UGH!!! Help me!!!.

So I'm making a concerted effort to spend time in the vertical plane. Out of bed. Outside. MOVE, you lazy varmit, MOVE!

I'm actually thinking of purchasing a new king size [up from queen]. I see a lot of you mentioning the tempurpedic/memory foam thing. Are they really that good?

BTW, while we are on the subject, is it needed to point out the obvious: That it is just possible that if you are willing to judge the worth of someone simply by what you read on a website about them it might say a whole hell of a lot more about you than it says about the person you are judging?

i got mine for my grad present from my parents. there are like 9 diff kinds so try them out before you buy. and then i hated it when it got here. it was very firm, firmer than i was used to, and firmer because they leave them in the cold truck overnight so theyre rock hard and easy to transport when they deliver them.

they hold temperature so i couldnt go back to bed that morning without turning into an ice cube. and ohhh do they hold heat. but its not bad.. i got used to it pretty quickly and i love it now.

Damn. I've tried these in stores and loved them, but I get SO hot when I sleep that anything that holds heat will just make me sweat to death and I'll never be able to sleep. Oh well.

i thought so too, but it actually has worked out fine so far. i turn the heat down really low when i sleep, haha, and who knows how summer will be. thats one thing i didnt know when i bought it and mightve changed my mind. but once it gets hot here, i'll let you guys know!

I slept over at a relative's house with Tempurpedic once and I was too hot to sleep. I actually heat up in my sleep (this has been confirmed by K and my ex, my body temperature goes up when I sleep, to the point that I heat up the whole bed) and the Tempurpedic just held all that heat until I was sweating and kicking off the blankets.

I my memory foam topper. Someday I'm going to get a whole memory foam mattress, but until then I have a 1" pad on top (they sell up to 4") and it makes all the difference.
