Thumbs up Dior Forever Foundation/ - Rave

Okay, I know I was using Armani foundation and gave it a huge rave, but I totally got it when I was tanning and next thing I knew, a few weeks later I had brown face white body syndrome. So I had to buy something else and it turns out the mall closest to my new house doens't sell Armani anything, fabulous.

This shis is HEAVY - in a good way. You cannot feel it at all, it feels so light but holy fucking christ it's like plaster when you put it on. FOREVER ain't just a name they made up for it! You can JUST put the powder on if you're not doing heavy sweating (groceries where you don't wanna bother with foundation - you know what I mean) and still look just as fabulous as if you put the foundation on. Powder by itself has more of a house-wife longevity while I'm fairly certain using foundation AND powder gives you a stripper-who-fights-fire-15-hours-a-day longevity.

    So I recommend.

I totally recommend this plaster as well! I go back and forth between deciding if I like this or Dior Sculpt better. It covers EVERYTHING and looks reasonably natural. It ain't goin anywhere either.

I do only use it when I'm trying to look glamorous or made up. In normal everyday life I use Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer but Dior is great for special occasions when I want that uber flawless, matte look.

It also comes in extreme pale, pale white for my albino skin.

Might have to give it a try. Although I am really happy with my Nars foundation at the moment.

How would you describe your skin type Lys? Dry, oily, combo, normal?? Also, which Armani one were you using?

How much was it? I know a couple people who rave about Dior's mascara (although they say that it dries out too fast). I'm considering heading to a counter, getting one of those make-over things, and just splurging.

Instead of Dior Show get the Dior Blackout. It doesn't dry out as fast.

Hrmm, I wonder if this would be good on acne and blackhead prone but not oily at all for some reason skin... Thoughts? I need a good coverage, I still in all my year swearing makeup, and having acne since I was 12 have not found anything that will effectively cover it up without making the breakouts or blackheads flare up.

On another note, Diorshow mascara made my eyelashes look the best they ever had, but the formula burned the SHIT out of my eyes. I wonder if blackout would do that.

Price doesn't matter as in Australia we pay a LOT more than you would in America. Case in point, a MAC eyeshadow is $40 here. So a foundation, powder, eyeshadow set and my eyeliner refill from Shiseido totalled $260.

And my skin type is very normal. And I was using the Armani Luminier I think.

I would seriously pay HUGE amounts of money for a foundation that covered everything without slicking off my garishly oily face. Seriously.

Well today my skin seems a tad dryer so it might be able to handle oil pretty well... I'm not sure if it's the powder or not.

All I know is it stays on when I'm sweating while at the gym and everything.

Try Nars balancing foundation. It's great and it's still on at the end of the night.

Do you know if the liquid foundation is oil free? Is it hard to wash off?

Dior make great cosmetics but they are not WOC friendly at all.

Sorry about that. I didn't even really see that considering I'm paler than a goose.

They did have some browns but you're right, not many.
