I was just curious; how many women lie about their age at work?

I was just curious; how many women lie about their age at work?
I do not. Maybe I should pretend to be younger. LOL

I don't, but maybe I should. Guys look at me like I'm a freak of nature when I tell them that I'm 30, lol!

not me. i'd get caught up and forget. and what happens when the guy comes in and i dont remember i lied to him? bad news all around.
plus, im 22, which is fine bc when they ask my least favoriet question "what do you do?" (like this isnt enough) i explain that i just finished school. so i couldnt really lie unless i was going up.. and why would that help me?

Nope I tell the truth. Im 28 and I know I look at 23-24 so i dont care, they are mostly impressed when i tell them 28 anyway.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

nope! I see no reason to lie, I'm in my early twenties anyway!

No. I figure if I told them I was younger than I am they'd think I looked pretty old and haggard for my age. When I'm honest they're generally pretty impressed that I'm not a withered old crone (since it seems to always be guys a few years younger than me who ask).
nope, don't lie. People always think I'm my age or older anyways. What can I say - I have an old soul lol

I don't lie either...But I am getting older so I might start lying about it...Or i just won't tell at all...A lady never tells is my favorite line lol
I am also 28, and get this same thing. I get carded for freekin' cigarettes (when I smoke them, which is like 2 or 3 packs a year maybe, when I am super stressed or on vacation in Vegas or something) I love the shock value of looking so young, I have to admit, I get off on it. Guys like it, and I have to admit I fool around alot. Some nights if I'm in one of those fibby moods I have been known to tell guys I am 29, 30, or 31. Silly I know but I love the responses I get and I make money.
So yes, even though I don't need to lie about my age, I do cause it's fun![]()
It depends on the crowd for me. College towns I usually tell my actual age to guys (21). Clubs with mainly older guys I sometimes will tell I'm a few years older, usually 25ish. I try to gauge the older guys though and see if they are the type that likes the youngins or gets a little freaked out. I only do this when I travel and I keep the same age at that club the whole time.
I've asked guys to guess my age a few times just for research. I have two very distinct looks I pull can pull off. With my party girl look most guess I'm around 18. With a little more makeup and a different outfit I usually get 24-26. I love the versatility.
If I was over 24 I don't think I'd fudge my age those few years. For some reason that doesn't sound quiiite as young to me as 21.
No. I'm 24 though and getting to the stage where I might think about lying.
I used to get 'are you old enough to work here' all the time. Since I turned the big 2-4 it suddenly stopped. :/
The world's most uncoordinated stripper
im 29, and i always say im 24, even though customers always think im barely legal.
I'm 25 and I almost always tell the truth now. Occasionally if its a much older guy I'll fib and say I'm nearer 30 jsut because I think it weirds some guys out if they have kids older than you.
I'm starting to feel like 25 is old enough for me, I think I'm just going to stick here. I'm not ready to be older than that yet so I think I'll just stay 25 for a few more years now.

I normally tell people my real age, since they never believe me anyway. The only time I get any shit for being 24 is when guys get mad over all my stuff being 'barely legal'. I don't name the fucking movies and magazines, I just show up and smile.

I'm 23 and I don't lie about my age but I do try and talk to seem more mature.

Im 33 and i usually say im 27, that doesnt seem too old to scare the young guys but seems mature enough for the older men![]()
I'm 28 and always tell the truth regarding my age. People always assume that I'm younger than I actually am.

I've never lied about it. I love the look an their faces when i tell them I'm 39!

i also try to gauge it by the customer, but my standard response is 24, and will stay that way for at least 5 years (i'm 26)
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?
Sometimes I do. Usually when a guy asks my name, I tell him to guess, and when he guesses I say Yup, how did you know???
and listen to their stupid ass answers as to how they could tell I was 18, 19, 26, whatever.

I have never lied. Most guess my age to be 21 or so... the looks are funny when I tell them that I'm ten years older!

I never lie about my age. I don't care. I'm 29, and most guys think I'm in my early to mid 20's. I get tired of the same damn question and always tell them not to flatter me when they try to guess.
