Default Buying your way off stage

My club will let you skip stages for $100. What are your thoughts on this ? Does anyone do it? Do you have the option ? I am considering it because our boss keeps the bar at like 78 or 80 degrees and it takes me 20 minutes to cool down and dry off after a stage set.

my current club doesn't allow it. our contract states we MUST perform nude on stage. at my previous club, however, rules were more lax....some girls never went on stage and only did dances....i know they didn't have to pay $100, but their payout may have been slightly more...if it was increased at all...all the clubs i've worked at have been really really cold!! so i love the stage. hell, i love the stage anyway. i'd rather do that then hustle dances

^^ Me too but the money is made doing lapdances. I like being onstage except that it's like dancing in a fucking sauna where I work.

I'd pay it. I can really tell the difference in my energy and the way I feel after a long shift on the number of times I do stage. Going on stage even 3-4 times a night I come home exhausted (and I don't even do much on stage!), whereas not going up at all I feel energized and my body doesn't hate me at the end of the night.

Dancers at my old club used to tip the DJ extra to stay off the stage, can't imagine it have being more than 4O-6O bucks, $1OO sounds kinda steep! But if you're making enough money where $1OO isn't a dent I'd say go for it.

Shit yeah I pay to get skipped. I LOVE stage when I am in the mood. But if I am absolutely not in the mood, I will pay the dj to skip me. I also get skipped I have a custy in and it is getting late, or he has to leave or if there is another one waiting on me. I have never had to pay more than $20.00. We used to have this female dj and she could be a total bitch! She would refuse to skip me when it would have been no big deal to do so just out of spite. She was a major bitch, she would screw with all the girls music or lights when she was in one of her moods.

our dj tipout is $10. pay him $20 and he'll keep you off stage if you want.

he's pretty good about not putting me up, though. and our club is weird for stage - whoever isnt busy goes up. we have no set rotation, its totally random, and if you said you'd go next but get a dance or something they just put somebody else up.

yup, ^ thats where i started paying for it (it was $40) and i've been doing it ever simce. those singles on stage aren't worth my time. i'm hustling for bigger bills in the couch dance room or the Cr. and my feet hurt less. Is the $100 per set, or for the night? Cause i might swing for it for the night if the club was good enough
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

    100 does seem steep.

My DJ's always work with me and will let me go up if I'm having down time. Then I get it out of the way and go dance for all the guys who tipped me. It rejuvenates me, by doing something new to keep busy, not jsut sitting and waiting and keep getting told no.

I'm thinking about it like this , if I go onstage say 3x a night and we have 3 stages open that's 9 songs at $10 each provided I can sell a dance each of those songs. Also, I sit around trying to cool off for 10-15 minutes after every set because I'm all sweaty. So it might be a good move but then again, your stages are your advertising.

I wouldn't do it if it was $100. I would rather save the hundred dollars, plus, make an extra $$$ amount for the times that I do go up. I would always rather end up with more money. I've done stage when I was half asleep, shit. If I really don't want to go on stage for some reason, it's motivation for me to work extra hard to get a customer in vip so I can be taken off rotation temporarily. I worked at a club where the girls were fined $20 for missing stage. I don't think it was the same as paying not to go on, because if they did it often, they would be fired.

Spearmint rhino in melbourne has the $100 off stage fee, it can be really beneficial on big nights but i wouldn't bother on quiet ones. i only ever pay it if i know it's going to be a huge night where i don't need to advertise myself on stage. i believe you definately make it back in those circumstances

The club I work at it's $90 to skip stage and I pay it on Friday and Saturday nights however, I do go on stage once during the busiest point of the night because it gets you out there and makes hustling a little easier on you

Just to clarify, it's $100 house fee . So instead of paying between $35-$75(usually right around $40 for the hours I work) it's $100 for the whole night so the difference is like $65. That's 2 rounds of stages at 3 songs per round aprox.

I think I am talking myself into it. Sometimes though, I want to go onstage and you definitely get dances that way.

Hmm. The places I've worked where it was an option, it was never more than $40. It would really depend on the club and the length and frequency of stage sets. If you're talking two or three times of being up for multiple stages in a row, yes, totally worth it. If that $65 buys time for $100-$200 worth of dances, it is for sure worth it.

If being so sweaty is such a problem, and needing recuperation time, then why not chill out on the stage performance when its busy.

I can't do crap on the pole (and look stupid trying, even though I still do ) but I still make good money off of it just swaying and lining up dances.

Why over exert yourself on a busy night when you know just stepping on the stage is bound to get a few guys to come up and ask for a dance later.

Save that energy for long strings of lap dances right after your stages are done!

not to threadjack but.... what would you say to a guy that mentions why you haven't been on stage all night or wants to wait till he sees you on stage first?

I would buy my way off if it was not slow. It saves the precious joints from nightly battering.

I'd pay it. I hate when the club is warm. I don't like when my hair gets messed up.

if it's only $60 differnce i'd def pay it, esp on busy night, you'd make way more money on the floor and not get sweaty

I think its worth it, $100 for your house fee and to be off stage. That sounds good. I was thinking $100 in addition to a house fee, which would be outrageous.

I'm going to ask my DJ if he'll take me off the entire night. Heh heh.

Its $100 here too and 100,000,000% worth it. We have to rotate 4 stages which ends up being about 40 minutes. I can DEFINATELY do 5 dances in 40 minutes. Not to mention I could maybe sell a VIP during that time too.

When it is slow only the main stage is open. Since we have 50 dancers youll only go up 2 MAYBE 3 times a night so its not worth the fee.

But when its busy its very very worth paying the $100 to skip that 40 minute stage rotation.

On a side note: We get skipped when we go into VIP so Ive had it happen where I hear Im on stage soon so I run and force a guy to buy a VIP so I can skip stage... yup - thats my hustle - I dont want to go on stage - Id rather go in the back with you. And shit me not if it works most the time... Ive gone all night without going on stage until like 430 in the morning when were about to close

Here you can be skipped for $5 each time, paid to the DJ. Usually it's if you're busy doing a dance but also if you leave momentarily, are late, don't feel good, whatever.

There isn't anybody that completely avoids stage around here. Meh, it's good advertising. Even non minors do most of their hustling from the stage.

It costs $20 to skip the stage set here, but I rarely do it unless the stage is really dead and I know I'll make more on dances. Stage money is usually pretty decent at my club, especially on the weekend nights that I work.
