The guys from those sites sure do hate stripperweb though. Perhaps I'll join too. Is T-Nation a forum?

Please don't cut down on calories while breastfeeding You and your baby really do need them. Besides BF will help you to slim down because of the amount of calories you burn while feeding.

This site will be perfect for you http://www.fitnessatlantic.com/

http://www.muscleandfitnesshers.com/ is an excellent magazine. It is a wealth of information and the pictures and editorials are really inspiring... i can't recommend it enough. They usually have features about bikini and fitness competitions. I like the website also.

For anything breastfeeding and lactation related, kellymom.com is the shiznit.

    And of course bodybuilding.com

LOL! Weren't those the guys (bodybuilding.com) that bombarded us last summer with their MASSIVE troll attacks? I'll never forget that.

krchab, please at least wait out the six weeks before going all out! With taking care of all the other kids and a newborn you could easily wear yourself out. Take walks with the baby and the kids and wait until you have your doctor's okay to start hitting the gym.

Also, my favorite website. And for being a "mans'" site, I can't help but go and look at the hot chicks. I get a lot of information from there also.

OMG, I am literally SURROUNDED by breastfeeding books and research articles for a paper I am writing about breastfeeding and mother to child HIV transmission in Africa.

We had a class on lactation and nutrient requirements a few weeks ago. My notes are in the pile. I will look them up and PM you some info this weekend if you are still interested.

The immune properties of breastmilk are sooooo fascinating, btw. It is so great that you are doing it. There are so many long term effects that are hypothesized to stem out into adulthood. But the most immediate effects are that you are imparting all these immune factors that help your baby's gastrointestinal tract and immune system develop so that they can ward off disease, infection and (many believe) certain allergies and asthma. Very cool.
