    Default Best SUV?

My SO and I are doing some shopping around-we are going to trade in his crappy truck for a SUV-we are looking at 2007-6 models cause we cant afford new. We want an SUV/Crossover.
We are thinking a Nissan Murano, Acura MDX, or GMC Acadia.
Are these good do you think? I don't know much about cars and stuff, but those are the best in our price range I think ($25000).

I dont know about those in particular, but I'm on my second Honda Element and I LOVE it!! Its seriously the BEST car I've ever had. TONS of room, corners on a dime(so you can fit into tight parking spaces), cute, and gets @ 25mpg. And you can get a brand new one in your price range. AND..when you want to turn it in, it has one of the highest resale values.

$25K .. you should be able to find a good '05 MDX with decent mileage.

I know a lot about cars. Out of what you list the MDX is your best bet. Very reliable, good to drive.. got some nice luxury touches.

I'd avoid the Acadia b/c for $25 grand there are better options. There's nothin really wrong with an Acadia tho.

IMO you should definitely check out a Toyota 4Runner...

They have a good amount of space, rugged .. good in snow and back roads, and they're extremely reliable.

here's one somewhere just to give you an idea.. link.

The Nissan Murano recently scored best in side, rear, and frontal crashes. I'd seriously consider that for family.

I had a 2004 Murrano and LUVed it! I traded it in on a whim for a Passat, just don't like the whole car thing. Just today I traded that in on a Toyota Highlander (my husband has a Tundra and I really like that and a friend of mine works at Toyota so worked a deal for me). I pick it up tomorrow morning. It's very similar to the Murrano, maybe just a tad bit bigger.
