Default the importance of GOOD security!

over the past three days i have had two VERY different experiences with security at two different clubs.

first incident (at my old club that i was revisiting for a night):
night starts off normal. there are 4 stages...while i was on the third one, i saw a guy taking pictures and videos of me...he wasn't even trying to hide it at ALL. so i told the bouncer and he SAID he made him delete it--that itself should have been the guy's first warning. a little while later, me and another dancer were eating nachos at a table...and the same guy sits down, doesn't say a word, and starts eating the food that WE paid for!!! WTF? so we go get another bouncer...he tells the guy to leave. guy says "yea, after i finish this phone call" while he continues to eat our food! bouncer goes to get another bouncer...guy still sits there on the phone...they get the "big bouncer" who is about 6'0 and 400lbs (he really is) and THAT bouncer says "i'm not on duty anymore. find somebody else." then they said me and the other girl had to stay in the dressing room until they got him out...which was THIRTY minutes later. so i was PISSED...me and the other girl just packed our shit and left. in the parking lot...who do we see?? uh huh. he was talking to another dancer...telling her that she was "gonna FUCK my friend and make some real money, bitch!" wow...why he was still on the property smoking a cigg after about 45 minutes of his shit? i dunno

    second incident:
**some of you may remember my post from about a month ago about the guy who stole my money and tried to beat my ass at little darlings in SF.**
well tonight, who do i see at my new club? yes, sir...as soon as i saw him walk in, i went STRAIGHT to the owners and told him he had to go...they didn't even ask why. they just said "show me the guy." less than 5 minutes later, he was gone. AFTER the coast was clear, they asked me what was wrong. THAT is the type of security thats needed in every club in america...yay for wonderful owners and great bouncers at my new club...i love them...

I HATE bouncers at most clubs, they are either trying to shake you down for money, or trying to get in your pants. I walked out of a club yesterday because the bouncers were sitting at the stage, staring intently at me every time I went up and following me around telling me they loved me. One of them even overcounted my dances, told me it was okay because we make more than he does and then tryed to holla. Ew. I'm trying to work people! Bouncers are generally the worst specimens of humanity.

I'm glad your one club has some good staff vonnie!

Wow. Makes me grateful for the bouncers at my club... They're so cool, they're invited to my b-day party! (No, really...I invited them.)

He ate your nachos?? wtf. Not life-threatening but I can totally see one of my doormen being like "Man what the hell is wrong witchoo? Did you pay for these nachos? No? Were you invited to sit down an partake of these nachos? No? Get the fuck out. Crackhead."

I have had good luck with bouncers. Except the short ones, sometimes when the only doorman working is 5'6" and so pretty much every dancer is taller than him... I don't care if he is a Navy SEAL and a black belt in Choo Wong Do, he's fuckin short.

    Hrm.

So wait, your only qualm with the short one is he was born short?
I have found short guys feel they have to make up for being short, and in turn have that short guy complex and can really kick some ass.

He ate your nachos? What a weirdo. That sucks that they took so long to boot him but I'm glad the other incident was handled well.

No I don't mind short guys, unless they're the only doorman working, then it is worrying to me... sorry if I didn't make that clear. You're right though about short dudes overcompensating by being tough shit... but it is still worrisome when the only security dude on staff is shorter than every dancer.

O.k. vonnie yes I'm officially stalking you on here, but only cuz I'm wondering how you got a better star status than me when i've been here longer, damn it I need to post more....
So this is what went down.....that sux and on your one day back,
ok was the 400 lb guy the one I think it is, that won't even say hi to me, so we got into it last week cuz I said "if you can't say hi than don't expect me to say bye,(tip) especially when I have no clue why the fuck you hate me." I must've been drunk and emotional cuz I could truly give two fux about who likes me in a strip club, but yeah, I hate when the bouncers arent doing their jobs
or when they're coming back when its not their shift and following a certain girl around. I mean "yeah" for her, but it seems weird when you're back on shift, like you know he's only watching her.

As for the nacho guy..... I'm such a dork I would've said," THESE ARE NOT-CHOS!" ha ha I'm so punny. I can hear you saying "stupid" right now.

Yeah, I hate crappy bouncers. I got into it with one last night, I was really sick and leaving before I had made money to tip anyone out (with the manager's ok), and he pretty much told me to fuck off, no I couldn't owe him the $5 tipout, I had to pay it now because I always only tip the minimum and he gets blown off too much letting girls owe him money.

Yeah, I'm sorry, but when I start making more than $100 a shift in your crappy club, I'll start tipping you more than the minimum. You leave with more tips than I do most nights, buddy, and YOU get an hourly wage. Actually, now that you've just kicked me while I'm down (I was so dizzy from my two ear infections, I could barely walk), you're never getting a cent over that $5 minimum from me, even if I sudenly break a $G.

This was the last straw for the club I've been bitching about since the Superbowl. I went and spent the last of my cash on my PHX license today and am booked at a new club tonight. I just have to drain my ears before I go.

There was a super short guy at my first ever club. Hyper littl dude, armed to the teeth and trained in some sort of martial arts, to hear him tell it. I don't know if I believe that, but I certainly felt safe enough around him after watching him cream a few custies who deserved it.

guess what?! your security guy got canned, heard the owner chewing him out in back about how big he was and kicking some guy while he was down after getting punched by him first! heard he left him for dead in the parking lot during the shift...so yeah, now the other same size guy is there, he's like the nice version....
he actually heard me and him fighting the night before and he jokingly asked me if I got him fired.... I was like no, but that'll teach him that Karma (total pun intended) is a bitch and that me and the universe are tight like that... ( you're not a bitch, tho girl)
but yeah I'll be bustin ass all weekend starting tomorrow, I forgot it was Easter sunday, ya know the greeks gotta party on easter, so I may skip out on sunday.
