    Default Roll-up-the-Rim to Win...Tim Horton's

In Canada, and some border US states, there are coffee/donut/sandwich shops called Tim Horton's (famous hockeybobby). They are a hugely popular franchise...our troops in Afghanistan even have one over there to give them a taste of home. I think we are all addicted to Timmy's.

Right now, they have a promotion on that they run every year. You roll up the rim on your take-out coffee cup and there might be a prize there. I've won free coffees, donuts and bagels...nothing bigger yet. They have cars and a bunch of cool stuff for prizes.

I think I tend to buy more coffees when they have this promotion, I think others do too. Has anyone won anything cool from this? For that matter, has anyone won any nice prizes on any type of random thing like this....or even a lottery prize?

How have you been lucky in a draw/contest?

Ok...well, after I dug my car out of 4 foot drift after hockey today, I went to Tims for a coffee and one of those new warm cinamon roll things I've seen advertised on tv. Turns out those were for Mcdonalds...I swear I'm a zombie most of the time doh.
But I had the Tim's cinamon roll with the icing on top. It was still warm...and holy crap was it good. Instant addiction.

So this is the tim's thread now.
I talked to the manager this morning about tipping, so I'm gonna go update my tippiing thread.

LOL, I know exactly what commercial you're talking about.

As much as I like Tim's coffee and the odd donut or muffin, I can't say I'm fond of their sandwiches or soups. Considering the high price for the small servings, I'm always still hungry after eating at Tim's.

I suddenly have a craving for an Ice Cap.

Apparently, there's a Tim Horton's application on Facebook too. Only a matter of time before Tim's takes over the world.

Anyway I won a bike one year lol. Also a coffee maker...

A few years ago my Mom won the car but couldn't claim it because I worked there at the time

This year i've only won a few coffees and cookies...so far...

I am addicted to Timmies Seriously its like crack for Canadians.

^^Your mom rolled up the car?! And you won a bike?!

In my family, we only win coffee. Or cookies/ bagels whatever.

I can't drink coffee anymore, but their tea is pretty addictive. There absolutely is crack in those teapots. Must be. Also, their croissants are my favourite.

Those bikes were pretty nice as I recall. I saw one that was donated for a silent auction...I would like one. And the coffee maker is supposed to kick ass. Your mom not getting to keep the car...well...that suck's ass.

I love Tim's...5 minute walk from my place. yeah...crack

I should try the tea now since molly says it's crackish too.

Agreed about their tea! I don't know what it is about it, but it's seriously so amazing.

Haven't won anything this time around yet, but I've only ever won food in the past. But hey, free food is free food!

A coworker of mine won a barbecue about two years ago when Roll Up The Rim To Win was on, but, sadly, I've never won anything bigger than a free cup of coffee.
