Haven't found much info on this club, anyone wanna indulge? Looks like a cool club, considering trying it out. What are their hiring policies?

Never been as a dancer or customer- let me know how it goes if you audition! I've always thought of that club but know nothing about it.
Good luck![]()
From what I heard, you can show up and work same day. Not very good money making place and very poor location, IMO.
Bad location and low earning potential. Doesn't attract guys with $. It's a small club, and theres a biker gang that considers it their regular haunt. They fill half the place up (namely the front/stage seating) and nurse their cheap drinks for hours on end..... without tipping the dancers a single buck.
If you're looking to work a small divey sort of club, BandAids is a better bet.
eeeeeek.
Thank you for the info ladies. I like that apparently you can show up and work the same day, but a bad location, divey, low earning potential....and the situation with the bikers, hmm not my cup of tea
Too bad, the pics I saw of it looked pretty cool. Awesome red interior. Damn.
Meh, I'll probably go check out Pink then. Always wanted to, never got around to it. I've read good things about it, so we'll see.

^ Lol, a lot of PHX clubs look way flashier in pics than they are in person. If you're willing to work the west valley, maybe check out Coyote Cabaret while you're at it? Thats a really small club, but is far far away from other clubs in the valley, doesn't have as many girls, and is right near Luke Airforce Base. Might have decent business compared to the small Phoenix clubs practically crammed together.
I was kind of wondering about that place, too. Now I know. Bandaids, huh? That's on the list with my new license... I'm trying Alaskan Bush Company tonight.
Be forewarned, BandAids is pretty dead and pretty crap money now too. The only reason I'd suggest it over the PinUp Girl is because it's been in biz for a much longer time, so theres *some* old time regulars who keep it afloat.
Have you tried Centerfolds yet? Wonder if the indoor smoking lounge gives them an edge over other PHX clubs.

In reality , both clubs have been open since the mid-60's, Band-Aids used to be called The Caper, home of the Caper Kittens, and Pin Up Girl has had various names, in the old days, one which was Excalibur, and before it was Pin Up Girl was called Sugar Shack.
The 19th Ave location just never pulled in as much traffic. Band-Aids/The Caper always has gotten decent volume but the money is hit and miss.

All of Phx is DEAD DEAD DEAD!
Last Fri night I was upstairs in VIP with a regular, looking at the empty main floor. Spring Training has not brought the same crowds in as it has in years past. It is going to be a REAL struggle for Phx dancers who do not have an established client base for the next 18 months. (bear markets typically last 18 months)

I was in CFs during dayshift today, and the smoking "atrium" is very odd because it is flooded with very bright daylight, which then shines through the bar into the main stage room. The whole time I was there it felt like someone had left a back door to the club open, because of the blinding light. I'm exaggerating a little, but it was still very strange.![]()

If anyone's still interested in this thread, Alaskan Bush Co. claims to have a hiring freeze for night shift (nobody even looked at me before telling me this), but days are acceptable if you can hustle hard.
I ended up at Eve's Tease for nights. It's the biggest dive I think I've ever worked in, and I'm not making a whole lot, but the money's easy (slightly more money and more consistent than what I was making at the Desert Flame) and the guys aren't allowed to touch us, so my only real complaint is that the club takes 55% of all dance money. I'd be making quite a bit more if not for that. Aside from that one glaring issue, I actually kind of like it there.

Being that Eve's Tease is a juice bar, juice bars typically have higher fees than full bar clubs due to a lower customer base many but not all times, and the lack of liquor with it's high profit margins.
Possibly if they had more business, the dance cut going to the club might be 15-20% less.
Went to Coyote, filled out an app.
This has been mentioned before but i'll reiterate:
Very low tip out, 5 dollars to house, dj, bartender, or 5%, whichever is higher. So basically unless you hit over 300 dollars, you're tip out is only 15 bucks either way.
If you get in at 3:00pm or before, you can stay for as long or short as you like with no fee. After that, however, you are required to stay for 5 hours. It's a $40 fee if you leave early in that situation. And of course, no schedules.
This seems like a good club to start out at from what I can tell for the following reasons:
a) as mentioned earlier, LOW tip out.
b) It's a small club, but the atmosphere is VERY laid back.
c) There are hardly any girls working there, they told me 12 girls on staff, so not too much competition.
d) Everyone is SUPER NICE. The girls were really cool and really really helpful. They'll show you around, help you on the poles, etc. They were telling me on my first night they were gonna be my cheering section, get people to tip. VERY nice girls.
e) Although it's kinda dead in PHX right now, the weekend shifts do get busy, and with only 12 girls working there....
Someone else mentioned that the problem is that all the customers are regulars. This was pointed out to me as well when I was looking around and talking to people. The girls there don't seem to mind so much, and they do seem to make good money from what was said. But yes, this isn't a "wanna dance?" club.
Also the customers seem really nice....there were only a few in there when I went in (I went in really early in the day) and they were sliding me dollar bills as I sat there in my street clothes at the bar. So I'm hoping this means they probably aren't too picky about parting with their money.

Never judge a book by it's cover. I would keep this club on the down low from now, on orother struggling Phoenix dancers may start flocking over there.
^^ I hear ya, however it's very far off the beaten path. I don't know how worth it it would be for dancers who don't live in the west valley to make it all the way out there. I live in the west valley and it's still pretty damn far.
With that said, we'll have to see if Coyote pans out. Next on my list to check out is Pink, which I still haven't gotten around to trying it out.
