Default DO you like your image?

I would like to know if you are happy with what you see in the mirror? I am not a dancer, and I have had children and I know that even with working out my body will never be like any of you gals but I would love to like my body, so do you have any advice? Do you think we are too hard on ourselves after having kids?

i have come to learn that i will never, ever be happy with the way i look. i have changed myself so many times and no matter how attractive other people say i am, i still despise the image i see in the mirror. but i've just kinda accepted it. i used to be a mess because of it, but now i've just learned to accept that i'll never be happy with the way i am, so there's no point in trying to change it.

Not to thread jack, but having met HHL, watched her interact with people, watched her dance and smile, I need to announce: She would be an awesome dancer today, if she decided to be one.

    You're downright gorgeous.

Logically, I can catalog most of my appearance flaws. I consider myself passable.

Emotionally, however, I love how I look. Especially my good posture. Trying to insult me based on appearance is a waste of time.

For the first time in my life, I like what I see when I look at myself. It's really weird. I think though a lot of that comes from the fact that I'm not judging myself so harshly on what I look like....realizing it's not the most important thing...so maybe the fact that I don't want to look perfect anymore is just giving me a sense of peace.

    Either way it's fucking awesome.

Wow, thank you for the honesty. I am so glad that some people can look at themselves and love themselves. I wonder why I am so hard on myself?

CE you are too sweet. My husband would not approve of me dancing, and I can understand why. HE himself was going to be a dancer but with men it's a bit diff I believe, women don't seem to respect male dancers and they go over board too much for my and his comfort.

Back to topic, I guess I shouldn't be so hard cause hell I don't show my body like many of you do, I only show my husband and he is either nuts or just loves me so much that he thinks I am the most gorgeous woman on the planet, I vote nuts lol

I just wish I could just look and say I look good.

You ARE gorgeous. And you would make a great dancer! I wish I was half as outgoing and sweet as you, hon. You are too hard on yourself-having kids is hard on the body and if it's done things to ya, well it's like battle scars! Stuff to be proud of.

For the question-I'm only now, in the past few years realized that I look good. Sometimes I know I don't and that's okay too. I don't have an awesome, muscular toned body, but I'm nice and soft and curvy with some muscle underneath. And that's good.

Some days I feel great in my body, and some days it could be better. I'm still very grateful that I'm not handicapped, have any major deformation, or look too bland and unflavored.

Rose you are absolutely gorgeous! And you have an awesome personality! what are you talking about? Girl you had me all "uhhh can I touch?" lol

I have been contemplating perhaps getting abreast augmentation, I know a lift would do nothing, my tissue is just too blah. Hubby said "I love your breast but you don't" and this would be for me but I am scared and not sure how to go about it. But I have a mommy emergency, I shall be back.

Oooooh. To HHL's hubby: Next time, your wifey is not safe from me. Just sayin'.

BA are a big thing, you need to do what makes you happy. The boy tells me the same thing though. He's all about the booty.

Most of the time I'm happy. Like Sh0t said, I can catalogue my faults and the reasons why they're there (namely, I'm lazy and don't work out and only selectively care about what I eat) but overall I like the majority of me and I know I clean up well.

Just remember, you look exactly the way you were intended to look. You were created to look like YOU, not like someone else. Not an easy thing to think when you look in the mirror sometimes, but it's true.

I will never be a tall blond with big boobs, but I'm not meant to be. I am destined to do great things looking exactly the way I do!

I've seen pics of you as a blonde and you obviously have the boobs covered so now all you need are 12 inch heels/platforms.

I love my body overall, except for my arms. I could stand to lose another five or ten pounds, but even with the padding I like my body because it's soft and womanly. I like my hips and curves, I like the softness of my skin and I love the things my body can do. I'm healthy and relatively fit and I don't mind the reflection in the mirror, even though I make a face these days and hope my hair grows back soon.

But I desperately need to get my arms fixed. I've hated them my whole life, I have flabby bat wings that have always been there because they're genetic. No amount of weights or cardio can get rid of them. I never feel sexy in short sleeves or (G-d forbid) sleeveless things and one shirt with too-tight sleeves can wreck my body image for a week. Liposculpture costs about $3000 and I'm saving up.

But other than that, yes, I like my body. There's not another one like it in the world.

I've always been very happy/satisfied with my body. I was blessed with a healthy, strong, lean body and great hand/eye coordination. All of my senses function well enough, and I've never been unable to do a sport or activity because of a physical limitation. Girls have always liked my body/looks.

However, I have a big hairy mole on my chin.

I have come to the conclusion that I will never be competely happy, I will always be a work in progress. I'm kind of ok with that though.

To a large extent, we all have to play the hand we were dealt via our genes. Personally, I could have done much worse, and while I have no first hand experience, I suspect the same is true for HHL.

NO. I can pick out individual things about my body I like...but overall, I will probably never be happy. I can pick out a handful of things I LIKE..and spend HOURS categorizing the things I dont. Total package I will ALWAYS think needs a major overhaul. Sadly...such overhaul never quite happens, no matter how strict a diet/work out regime I embrace.

I'm just meant to be ALMOST hot I think. Which is infuriating. It would almost be better if I was just disgustingly ugly and obese...at least I could give up. But it's like what I want is always JJJUUUUSSSTTT out of reach. Sucks

Oh..and desavirsire....so you know how much I would kill for your body???Odd that even the most perfect of us arent happy. THats sad if you thnk about it...

    J.H. effin' Christ, Cam!

You have featured prominently in more of my personal fantasies than I care to announce publicly. IMO, the only things I'd like you to give up are your negative self-image and--um, never mind about the second...

I'm reasonably happy with the way I look. Happier now than when I was younger -- I used to think I was horrifyingly ugly. Sometimes I still think I'm kinda funny-looking in real life, but I think I look pretty fly in my stripper make-up with my hair done. I get a kick out of seeing my funny-looking self all strippered up.

What cellulite? What rolls? Sorry hon, but posing naked on the internet robs you of the right to make up body flaws that just ain't there. We've all seen you and we know for a fact you have a perfect womanly body!
