Default Agencies that represent feature dancers

Does anyone have any information or experience working with an agency as a feature dancer?

I've only heard of Continental Agency...what other ones do you know of?
What kind of materials will they expect you to submit? (Video and picture I assume, anything else?)

I've read in other threads about this that its important to have already made a name for yourself as a model or porn star or something - what other advice would could you give me?

I always wanted to be a feature dancer. I know its not as great as it used to be but I'd still like to try. I'm not exactly ready now, but I'd like to know what I need to do to have half of a chance when I apply in the future.

For the US I would say Lyken would be the best.

I've talked with a few different American agencies now and the one i've gotten the best vibe from is Ken at Lyken. He is Jada Devilles husband. He has some great gigs and gets decent pay.

Unlike the other agencies he likes to push the features who are more showgirls vs porn. He has no problem with porn girls, its just hes the only american agency that doesn't get hung up over the fact a girl does porn.

I will hopefully be working with him in the future. Right now though im being kept busy by Canadian agencies lol.

My best advice for getting into it is working on your show, building up a lineup of nice costumes and props and getting into contests to get your name out there.

This has been in a few threads I think, but here is some video of feature dancers you can watch:

Most of the dancers are pretty different from each other!

When I was a feature dancer in the early 90s, we were all listed with all the agencies at the same time. I'm guessing things are so different now that I have no useful advice to offer. I will say that in 1992, to get started, I spent about $12K on props and costumes, and I sewed a lot of my own things.

Interestingly to me, the ostrich feather fans I bought in 1992 (from Eskay, which is still in business here in NYC) have gone up only about $50 per pair in the past 15 years.

You can see a pic of me with my big supermodel hair in 1992:

I'm rambling...somebody needs to go to bed!
