Default Workout for those who hate the gym...

I hate the gym. Really hate it. It's too much of a production to make it there and keep myself amused there.

So I just got the most awesome thing ever - a MiniStepper!

I got it in the sporting goods section of Target. It was only $70, and you do cardio/full lower body workout. I can watch TV and work out! OMG! I can roll out of bed and work out!

It's in a green/white/grey box. It tucks right under the couch!

I fucking love this thing. They have a version with cables that incorporates an upper body workout.

Interesting, I saw the pictures and was worried I'd lose my balance and fall on my ass. Does it take some getting used to?

I hate the gym too. I think everyone does but it is the only place that I get really aggravated when guys just want to stop and stare at me workout, so I've been hunting down at home stuff.

I've been tempted to get one of those for a long time for when I don't feel like driving to the gym or out of pure boredom. I'm going to Target today so I'll check to see if the one by me carries them. I'll probably have to use it next to a wall, though. I think I'd lose my balance on that thing or something.

It's not hard to balance on it at all. I do it with the remote or a magazinr in my hand.

Hmm, are these small enough to be portable? I plan to travel for work a lot this summer and I turn into a total cranky bitch if I go longer than 2 days without working out... even if I'm dancing my ass off at night, I have to get some cardio during the day. This sounds like it might work.

Awesome. Thx for the reviews. I've been contemplating to get one of these for a while too, but wondered the same thing about balancing.

Yay, i'm going to get one too now!!

I HATE the gym. I used to drive there, have an anxiety attack about going in and turn around and leave. haha.

I'm going to have to check this thing out. As much as I LOVE being outdoors with my dog... some days I just can't get to it so this would be perfect for late night cardio while I watch TV or whatever.

I have one of these that I got from www.gaiam.com I may or may not still have the stretchy resistancy arm bands. If anyone wants to meet me in the DC/Richmond area, PM me and I will give it to you. I never use it since I bought a stairmaster.

I'm with you guys.I hate my gym! If I didn't pay for it I'd quite going. The 24-hour Fitness gym I went to when I lived in Costa Mesa,Ca,was fine.I liked it.But the one I go to here in Va could use some updating.I most definately will check out that mini-stepper.Thanks for the tip.:-)
