What type of lotion is every one using before dancing?
What type of lotion is every one using before dancing?

i am SO picky about lotion. i use olay quench body lotion most of the time and it makes me super soft and not sticky at all. i put it on right after i get out of the shower, though, so that gives me a minimum of an hour before i even get to work. dont put lotion on and get on stage. not cool.

For regular daily use, I'm currently using St. Ives - Mineral Therapy. I love it and it smells SO good! I normally use Palmer's Shea or Cocoa Butter lotion.
For work I use lotions from either VS or Bath n' Body Works to match with whatever perfume/body splashes I'm wearing that night.
i use the nutts massage bar from lush all over my body, or i use alba's kukui nut body butter. my skin isn't used to the cold weather so it's really dry. I put it on after the shower though, many hours before work so it has time to sink in. putting lotion on at work pisses me off, i seee so many girls doing it.

Various Lush massage bars and this great souffle lotion I found. Can't remember the name.
(Formerly known as 'Korina')

I use Sweet Pea from Bath and Body Works. Juniper Breeze was my favorite before it got discontinued. Boo.

I do pole trick so I don't use lotion at work. However for everday use I prefer the natural/vegan body butter types.
The best to put on before dancing is lotion that is NOT oil based. Meaning oil shouldn't be in the fist 3 ingredients on the label.
It takes 46 muscles to frown but only 4 to flip 'em the bird

^Yeah... I never use oil based lotions at work. I'm not trying to kill myself or anybody else.![]()
I love love love Palmers Coco Butter, it makes me smell like sweeties! Most of the time tho for work I use the lotion with the gradual fake tan in it to keep my colour up.

I use Lush massage bars, too!
I am a fan of jergens skin firming lotion.
Don't use lotion at work!! Use it at home when you get out of the bath so it has time to dry!
Soft skin is my number one beauty endeavor. I wash with Lush Skinny Dip, which moisturizes beautifully and smells like cocoa, cloves, and cinnamon. Sometimes I'll use the Buffy first. After the bath I gently pat dry and apply a heavy cocoa butter-based lotion. Later after work, I use a Lush massage bar before bed (usually Wiccy Magic Muscles because it eases soreness). Of course I use good facial moisturizer and eye cream twice a day as well. Oh, and take Tonalin too for really soft skin.
Sounds a bit labor-intensive but silky-soft skin is the secret to femininity!

I have this DRY oil body spray, it feels and smells A-Fucking-Mazing!!!
I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.
It leaves your skin super soft with NO residue at all & perfectly safe for work. It absorbs perfectly into the skin, like if you never put anything on & dries up quick.
I have to get the name when I get home, and i'll post it. My exbf use to go nuts when I use to spray that shit on. The smell alone will give a man a boner. LOL.
Wow Yek!That's quite a process! I don't think I have enough time in the day to get down to business like that.

I always get compliments on how soft my skin is, and I moisturize often, but I think drinking a ton of water has a lot to do with it also.
Before work (like right after my shower) I usually use a VS lotion, but I have a feeling they're not vegan. I think it's high in dimethicone or something. I use straight cocoa butter a lot. And I loooove Alba organic products so much. I use the coconut milk cleanser on my face and I rarely need an extra moisturizer.
I really want to try the Lush products. Which reminds me...I gotta go drool over the Lush website some more and probably make an order!
It sounds more involved than it really is. It only takes an extra five minutes or so. You're right that drinking a lot of water helps, I do that too.
I love the VS scents, but I had to quit using the Vanilla Lace lotion because it was staining my skin yellow. Just have to stick with the body spray now. I find that VS lotions don't moisturize as deeply and thoroughly as cocoa butter anyway.
I don't use any lotion right before work. I put it on the night (or morning) before after a hot shower.

I just use Cetaphil regular lotion to moisturize face and body. I also wash face and body with Cetaphil regular bar soap. And take vitamin E supplements daily. Best (and simplest, cheapest) skin treatment ever! I have tried all kinds of other shit, from cheapass to expensive, from simple to complex and I like the current method by FAR the best. Been doing it for well over a year. (Been taking vitamin E for ages tho) My skin is always very soft, smooth and just generally nice. People comment on it all the time, and when I say something like "well don't all girls have soft skin?" they respond with something like, "not really". hmmmm
As for lotioning before dancing. DO IT RIGHT AFTER YOU SHOWER, NOT RIGHT BEFORE GOING ON STAGE. 1) The lotion works better on freshly washed, still-moist skin - helps lock in that extra moisture. 2) Lotioning right before stage doesn't allow time for the lotion to soak in well so you grease up the stage and pole for the next girl - NOT a good idea![]()

Hehe, I didn't forget. It's called VitaBath. And it's exactly this one.

It's out of stock in that site though.
What does it smell like though, Vyanka? The site just says "light fragrance." Is it floral, fruity, spicy, what?
