    Default Maternity swimwear?

what do you think of maternity swimwear choices? Rob and I had a convo about this, and he's all for the bikini. I personally don't like it.

I wore a bikini up to the end. Those poor neighbors I shared a pool with in Cali must have thought I was nuts, especially with the E V I L C U N T all stretched out.

I think some of them with skirts are so pretty!!!! Besides, I grew up wearing a one piece with a coverup always!

I like preggy women in bikinis, though some look better than others! There should be enough 'support' all around (of course that goes for non-preggos too!) I'm a tankini girl myself. I hate those one piece with a skirt things. Reminds me of going to church functions as a kid and having to cover up so as not to tempt people into sin.

Why not a bikini? Makes no sense to buy a maternity swimsuit you'll only wear a few times. Might as well just do your regular bikini.

in florida summers, I tend to wear a bathing suit enough times to get my moneys worth a few times.

I'm sure I'll try it out, at least just for photos.

sort of related- I knew this dancer, who had twins, and her whole pregnancy she laid out in a bikini all the time. Well, after the babies were born, and her skin shrunk, she was this beautiful tan color, except her belly! she was naturally dark skinned (columbian), but her belly was black!!! I guess the melenin in her skin just got all concentrated. It was freaky.

I voted, well, numerous things, lol. I think a bikini is good for a certain amount of time. I probably wouldn't wear one, but living where I do, I probably wouldn't end up in a swim suit at all. I'd go for maybe a bikini or tankini with a cute coverup if you feel uncomfortable.
I believe you Dottie and you have my support

Well not getting pregnant myself, but I couldnt care less what pregnant women do wear. Pregnancy is uncomfortable enough..esp in the last months...wear whatever you feel comfortable in and to hell with anyone who doesnt like it.

I didn't vote because my preference wasn't in the poll!!

For myself, I preferred a one-piece, no skirt...those attached skirts are a little too "granny" for my taste.

i think as long as you can fit your ass and boobies into it in a way where nothing is "rolling out", go for it. people are too fucking uppity about pregnant bodies. if someone is grossed out or offended by it, fuck em.

    "you"-meaning people in general

If you could pull off a bikini before get pg, then I think its fine (and sexy!) to wear one with the baby bump.

However if before you were pg you couldn't pull off a bikini...I don't recommend starting now.

End the end though I could really careless. People can wear whatever they want, if a pregnant chick wanted to wear a slingshot if anything I'd just think she was a badass, aha.
