The Vatican has said it's a deadly sin to "be obscenely rich"? And they called pedophilia a deadly sin as well? Is it April Fool's Day already or is Fox News just having fun with irony?

Wonder when the Vatican is gonna start giving away all priceless art and land and money it's accumulated over the past couple thousand years, then.

Interesting article. The strategy seems to be Lets see if we can make everyone feel guilty about something, so they'll come and confess and feel better.

I don't understand the Vatican... If they would move with the times a little I think they would retain old members and gain new ones... If the next Pope isn't a progressive then I think they will be doomed.

^ is "progressive pope" an oxymoron? yeah... seems like sinning has gotten a major technological overhaul. i mean, i USED to be able to just sin on my own without disturbing anyone else; these days i need a genetic testing lab, a planned parenthood, an offshore account in the cayman islands, or a drug cartel. well, if anything i guess sinning has become more difficult?!

Yes. Or make money, or have an abortion, or throw a straw wrapper on the ground, or you will go RIGHT TO HELL. DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT*COLLECT 200.

If I add these new sins on top of the 'original' 7, almost every person I know is going to hell, myself included. At least I'll have friends with me in our eternal hell.

    lol, that is so stupid.

And genetic engineering...I woder how they define that? By broad definition, using artifically selected cultivars (like corn, for example), could be a sin. Bwahaha.

So, did they "ok" the new deadly sins with god before putting out the press release or is he just finding out now with the rest of us?

    Is that so? Hmmmmm.

Looks like it's now OK to spend the whole weekend fucking and sucking with some gal I don't know yet.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

Are you going to hell for all the threads that you've killed? You *do* know that that's a sin, right?
