    Default crock pot

I really feel the need to express my undying love for me crockpot. Seriously. I love it. It is the best way to cook meat, requiring absolutely no effort on my part.
Everytime I use it though I always think of this time I was sitting in one of my english classes and my professor was talking about how she overheard two ladies in the gym talking about how amazing crockpots were and how dinner was being cooked right then, as they were working out. Professor thought these ladies were dumb, but I understand how they feel.

I love my crockpot too! It's not just for meat, it makes yummy soups and stews too! I even made lasagna in mine once. Ooh, I just realized, I bet it would make awesome ratatouille...

I want a rice cooker. It's a running joke in our house that I can't cook rice. True, too. I ALWAYS burn rice.

I was raised on rice from a ricecooker. The only time I ever eat regularly cooked rice is if I'm eating out or at someone else's house. It's just not the same. I highly recommend purchasing one if you eat a lot of rice.

I WOULD eat a lot of brown rice if I could cook it without burning it. I tend to get the boil-in-a-bag kind when K is home, but it makes too much for just me by myself and rice doesn't keep well. I ought to get a rice cooker someday... if we ever get married, I'll register for one.

I can make perfect rice without a rice cooker, just don't' turn the heat on high and make sure the water doesn't' dry up completely while on the stove. I seriously need a crock pot though.

A must have for any regular rice eater. Well worth the costs. Go get one asap, you won't be sorry!

I haven't used my crockpot in ages.

I've been tempted ricecookers in BB&B a few times but I always pass. I can make pretty good rice and we don't eat all that much of it.

I'm into my griddler these days.

*goes to kitchen to start looking for crockpot*

A crockpot and a slow cooker are the same thing, but crockpot is the brand name. I think! ANd yes, you do need one. Everyone needs one!

Rice cookers are great, but I stopped using one because of the idea of heated plastic next to my food...

I haven't used my crock pot in ages, I think it's probably high time I drag it out.

I haven't gotten more advanced than getting those frozen bags of ready to go frozen crock pot meals, but I still love my crock pot! Marie Callendar's chicken and dumplings are good.

If you really like the way they make rice you should check out the newer types that have a removable metal inner pot. That's what I use. No plastic is in contact with the rice.
